I got mine after 26 minutes. I'm 5 for 5 (passed on Kit). 2 of those 5, including today, were using my pathetic dial-up connection.

I only made it with about 5 min left before he sold out. I didn't think I'd get one. I got lucky I guess.

I finally did get mine. Sounds like I got in just in time, too. Very slow and frustrating on this one for me. Dusty, thank you for the suggestions, and I hope they helped someone, but I don't believe my issue was just a stale cache. Maybe I just had the (bad) luck of the draw, and kept hitting the clogged servers, or maybe there is something about one or more of the hops between my system and the web site that exacerbates the problem. But whatever it is, the preorder process isn't getting any easier around these parts.

I don't think there is much more Sideshow can do to speed it up. There are lots of people getting their orders done in a couple minutes and others that may take 20. Plus everyones internet connection is going to come into play. They also have the phone lines open to order.
