It was definitely a dud. Oscar wasn't utilized like he should of been. I liked the final fight with him at the end with everyone trying to take him down. I didn't mind the Phoenix at all, I'm just SO sick of Magneto in these films. He keeps being pigeonholed as the angry mutant after losing something and lashing out. We. ****ing. Get. It.
I remember seeing a review for it and they said "the X-Men can never have fun." It's always doom and gloom and nothing lighthearted, ever.

I liked everyone blasting away at him at the end too. It finally showed how powerful he was. I'm still irritated with how he looked. Seeing Oscar standing next to everyone and either being the same height or smaller was disappointing. The Horsemen were ok. Storm looked good, Archangel's wings were cool but he was basically a background character, Magneto got to stretch his powers more but I'm over the back-and-forth with the character. They never gave me a reason to believe Psylocke would be one of the chosen since she didn't do anything except stand around looking pissy except for the one fight with Beast that was meh. She looked the part, but I don't care if I ever see Munn again. Also, I still hate the design of the Sentinels. Seeing them at the end should have been a great moment, but I couldn't get excited about it because I think those things look stupid.
Hmm where have I seen that before...
Munn was a big build up before the film's release, which amounted to nothing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did Apoc even power up Magneto? He did for the other Horseman and Xavier, but it seemed like he just taught Magneto how to control dirt
I think Apocalypse showed him how to manipulate the Earth and Auschwitz was the area he could reasonably manage without being powered up. I assumed Apocalypse powered him up off-screen so his powers could affect the entire world. I could be wrong though. Another thing I don't remember if the film addressed was if the power up (beyond physical appearance changes) for each Horseman was permanent, or if when Apocalypse was defeated they lost their extra power.

I wonder if he was there at the beginning of the development for this film.
I remember he had that sex scandal floating over his head and at that time.
And then he got cleared of those charges and resumed directing.
So I'm assuming there was a time when the movie was developing without him.
Would this have been a better movie if he had total control and nothing hindering him?
I think I may end up selling my BTAS figures. I don't have room to buy more, and I lost interest some time ago to keep collecting them.
I think they're screwing up with the big delays between releases. I love them and will keep collecting them, but I tend to forget about the line until a new batch pops up. They do take up a lot of room though if you have a decent amount--and that's without having the giant *** Batmobile.
I was all in with them a year ago, but with the amount of stuff I got coming out in the next few months and the Blitzway GB figures coming out, I can't hack staying with it.
I don't know about anyone else, but those Soldier Story GB figures look like gahbege IMO. Although having a civilian look is definitely interesting.
The animated Batman line isn't going anywhere and isn't limited so you could always get back into it later knowing you're not going to have a difficult time finding any.
The Soldier Story Ghostbusters figures are ok, but I'll stick with Blitzway. So much for Dave declaring them bootlegs. I wouldn't mind having another set with them in civilian clothes, but I'll worry about that after I get the Blitzway set.
Oh for ****'s sake
Yeah those figures will be around for years since they're incredibly mass produced. IDK, maybe if things lighten up after the holidays I'll get back into it.
Those GB figures are just OK to me, but Venkman looks like a mutant
...the misses kinda wants this
Kotobukiya is doing something right because my wife likes it too.
Oh for ****'s sake
