The Phantom Zone thread I started got merged with YFB's Iceberg Lounge thread that he hadn't posted in for months. If you go back to the early part of the thread you can read him throwing a fit about it.

Ah that's right... Never understood why they merged this thread with the one that yankeeboyfan guy started... Makes no sense and now I remember the drama early on! Don't see why one of the mods couldn't fix the title of the thread. Seems like an easy thing to do.

So a buddy of mine let me borrow his glow-in-the-dark filament for my printer. Ran a slimer print in the glow-in-the-dark... It is pretty damn impressive!

That's awesome! I need to see if I have some glow-in-the-dark filament.

My wife was sick and now I have her ebola. Having to go to work feeling like this is bad enough, so I'm really glad we're not travelling anywhere for the holiday.

Got the Band of Brothers Blu Ray boxset yesterday for my birthday. I might start giving it a watch this weekend. Me and my Wife started it last year when it was on demand but never got around to finishing it.

I think just about all of Easy Company is now dead that the show was based on.

Band of Brothers is an amazing series, can't recommend it enough.

Thanks, Ryan! :duff

It truly is an experience. Probably the best mini series HBO ever did. I can't help but get tearful watching the actual guys talk about their experiences, especially when they lose someone.

I showed my wife Saving Private Ryan and she loved it so much (she didn't think she would) and wanted to see BOB. We got to the start of the Battle of the Bulge but didn't finish it. Now we can watch it on my 40' HD TV on my PS4 now.

Side note, my Great Grandfather was in the airbourne during WWII and he got the Silver Star. I need to find the news clipping of it and post it. I don't know what unit he was with though.

I also had an uncle that drove one of the boats onto either Utah or Omaha beach, I don't recall specifically. He hated Ryan, specifically because he said the beach was worse than what was in the film and next to no guys survived it.

I never got on to watching BOB but I love Saving Private Ryan. Get the blu ray if you can, the audio quality is so good that it's scary.

If you loved Saving Private Ryan then you would love BOB. Everything about the series is so well done, but I especially love the interviews with the actual men from Easy.

I've been hearing that a gaziliion times. I guess I need to hunt down the blu ray! :lol

"Gonorrhea" from it is from Philly, and they recently made a statue in his honor.

Don't peak if you didn't watch it yet.
