I don't get anything, do I?
Unbreakable is a true film that was ahead of its time. If that same movie came out today it would be huge. Would probably break records
It only took 3 years. I'm sure I get a SSF certificate or something awesome, right? Right?

I still have nothing but respect for Murphy. Especially after reading his Rolling Stone profile. They asked him about all his flops and his response was, basically, "I did all my best work in the '80s, I made all the money I'll ever need, so, now, I just do what seems like fun and don't really give a ****." How dressing up in a foam rubber fat suit and sweating your balls off is fun is beyond me, but, at least, he's straight-up about it.![]()

I'll take it. Man, I need to watch Goonies again. I remember watching it in the theater and loving that Sloth wore a Superman shirt.
My kids are 4 & 6 and I have an entire DVD Bluray library and itching to watch old movies with them thatI grew up with and that is one of them. I can't wait.
I do that with my nephew. I even gave my brother a list of movies he has to make him watch if he gets the chance.![]()
I watched flight of the navigator with my kids the other day. They loved it.
That's awesome. He hasn't seen that one yet, but I think he'll love it. Last Christmas he asked me if I had a Christmas movie we could watch so I put in Gremlins. He loved it but was a little freaked out by Stripe melting at the end. I told him it scared the hell out of me when I saw it in the theater when I was little. It's just part of the experience watching that movie. I have a feeling he's going to ask if we can watch it again this Christmas.
Haha, my mother did something similar with me and the movies she watched with my Dad in theaters. Indiana Jones, Reeve Superman (the first two, she couldn't bring herself to watch the sequels), Burton Batman, and notoriously Terminator. I'm totally gonna do the same with my kids, and add in some video gamesMy kids are 4 & 6 and I have an entire DVD Bluray library and itching to watch old movies with them thatI grew up with and that is one of them.
