I'm fighting off a migraine so this may be a short work day for me if it sets in--which would be awesome if I wasn't going to be writhing around in pain waiting for my head to explode.

:lol

It's one of the few HT figures I bought that had zero regrets, and zero problems.

yeah it's always been one i've wanted to pick up... already have the regular on my desk next to ed (zero damage after a couple years untreated)... but that battle damaged face is so good. prolly just sell the murphy figure if it doesn't blow my skirt up and recoup a good portion of that $325!

How are the gents today?

Excellent decision Prodesign. Most good.

thx dude... the price was just too good to pass up for the unopened pair.

How's the migraine, Zod? Did it kneel?

@Prodesign that's a hell of a deal. Glad you bought them. Thanks for the rep. I owe you rep down the road.

It blew up and put me out of commission for a few hours. Even with it easing off I'm still hurting. My head feels sore, even the skin. I'm going to see my back doctor next week so I'll tell him I had another bad one. There's not much to be done except find the right medication that will make it go away when I feel one coming on.

Zod, you should try taking Bayer low dose aspirin daily (if it is ok with your doctor). My wife use to get migranes pretty often, and then she had a complex migraine (we thought she was having a stroke at the time). The doctor prescribed low dose aspirin. As long as she takes it daily, her migraines are less frequent and less severe.

Thanks, Veil! I'll try anything to keep them away or at least lessen the intensity.

I had one bad migraine I can confirm, that woke me up during the night... but I think what I get a lot of sinus headaches. I'd take them over migraines any day.

Same here. I had never had a migraine until a few years ago. It's one of those things that people think they get because they just think it means "bad headache"--then if they actually have a migraine, they realize every headache they've ever had wasn't a migraine. :lol

:lol no kidding. My wife gets them pretty frequently. I woke up and thought I was dying :lol

It was so bad I had to get up and walk around. It's pure agony. I even vomited up from the pain right after I took some pain killers.

I feel like I'm dying every time I have one. I start getting paranoid that the pain is so bad that something is going to burst in my brain. Throw in some nausea, photo-sensitivity, and inability to lay down, stand up, sit down, or walk around for very long stretches at a time and it makes for a very bad 3-5 hours.

I hear ya. I have get sympathy for anyone who deals with it regularly. After that one bad bout I had, I still felt it lingering in my head days later. Just a weird buzzing euphoria.

That's another thing that sucks about them--you still feel a little pressure or tingling in your head for a day or so after. I can honestly say that I'd take back pain over a migraine any day of the week. Back pain sucks, but I can generally function as a human being. Migraines are completely debilitating for me.

Yeah with back pain, you're kinda okay for the most part if you act like you're in a body cast.

I had to go to a chiropractor a few years ago for neck pain which cured it, and I've been pain free in both my neck and back for years now (knock on wood)

That's awesome that you were able to get your neck taken care of that simply. :rock I know a few people that had awful back/neck pain and were able to get it fixed like that. I'm going to my doctor next week, but I don't know why I keep going. Nothing changes--no new improvement or procedure to try--but I still have some bit of hope in the back of my mind that I'll walk in one day and he'll have some good news. At least I'm up and mobile and not addicted to pain pills.

I'd think if you're still able to function normally, albeit with pain, there's GOT to be something there to help you.

My neck pain is gone, but I've been dealing with runner's knee since last year and that's definitely no picnic, let me tell you.
