I'm hoping they'll do something clever like Flashpoint to bring future films a little closer in tone to the comics. I really want a brighter, more optimistic take on Superman, I couldn't help but feel all the way through BvS that Snyder was enjoying making the character suffer.

Superman was a huge disappointment to me in BvS. I agree that Snyder seems to enjoy torturing the character. I like Cavill in the role, but he's not been given a script that lets him be the Superman I expect to see in a DC film. I love a pissed off Superman when it's called for, but Snyder's Superman is depressed and mopey. As you said, something needs to change in order to allow him to be a brighter, more optimistic Superman that other heroes look up to and take strength from. One of my favorite Cavill Superman moments was his first flight in MoS. The absolute joy in his face was fantastic.

Why are people in the comments saying it is fake?

I have no idea. I agree with a lot of what's in the letter so it doesn't matter to me if it's fake or not. It's just nice to see someone else agrees with me. :lol It's out on the internet so whoever wrote it did the job they were trying to do.

I was actually surprised that he liked it. It definitely had some decent parts in it, especially compared to BvS. I think I just get my hopes up too high for DC's films because I love the characters, but I don't agree with how DC is handling them.

Don't worry, I didn't like it much at all. I kept waiting for it to measure up but I just wasn't feeling the movie.

Doesn't matter to me if he was an actual employee or not. Most of what he said about the WB films is absolutely spot-on to me.

Another hour and I'm off for the weekend. All I want to do tonight is eat, watch a little of the Olympics, and go to bed.

I have been fantasizing all week about sleeping 12 hours tonight.

I really liked the trailer for Wonder Woman. I'm desperately hoping they don't screw her up.

WW looks like it can be at the very least be decent.

As much as I liked Gadot, there's something to be said for nostalgia.

Though this was probably my favorite moment in BvS.

I wasn't keen on her, but after watching a bulk of BvS clips on Youtube, I've turned the corner. There's just something about her.

First flight is perfectly done. All the sonic booms really sell it. I think he looks the part, but Snyder doesn't get Superman at all.

Besides, isn't everything on the internet true?

Albert Einstein needs to grow his hair out again. Looks nothing like him with short hair. That quote also reminds me that I need to look up Einstein's internet blog. I'm sure it's fantastic. He's wicked smaht.

He said they're not making WB money. Which is complete BS for a number of the ones mentioned, including every recent DC-based movie. Some of the non-DC movies did abysmal box office, but every studio has clunkers.

It's going to be interesting to see what DC does with their upcoming films. Like I said, I'm a giant DC fan so I want them all to be good, I'd just prefer to see them going in a different direction. I can't wait to see some other directors besides Snyder get ahold of the Trinity. Plus, I'd like to see the studio trust that the people they hired are going to make great films and just get out of the way and let them do it.
