I'm actually partial to the seated version, since I always thought it was his best scene in the film when he's talking to Clarice about her past.

I like that one, but I'd rather have it blood splattered. That would have been a good EX. I don't know who I'm kidding, because I know I'll end up getting both versions at some point.

Yeah, I'll probably go with both versions without a doubt. Just silly they didn't go for the blue jumpsuit from the very beginning.

I'm surprised they're not offering the set with a little bonus like they did with the Fight Club 2-pack. I'm also a little wary about jumping on the preorder for these considering I got the Durden set for $335 when Entertainment Earth put it on sale. I guess this may be a more popular license though so who knows what will happen with it.

I honestly see Fight Club being the bigger film. Lambs is kinda niche, and there's more time from it's release than with Fight Club. Maybe I'm wrong about the popularity.

Besides buying all those HT Alice headsculpts I pretty much modded the the hairs sculpts. The ones that got transplants was the Red Dress Alice and Suburbia Alice.

I still need a 1/6 version of that patch.

I think it depends on how old you were when the films were released. I was 16 when Silence of the Lambs came out and it was a huge movie for back then. It was nominated for and won a ton of awards at the Golden Globes, BAFTAs, etc. before the Oscars--where it won Best Picture, Actor, Actress, Director, and Screenplay. It was all over the place for awhile. I remember loving Fight Club when it came out but don't remember it being at that level of popularity.

Yeah, you might be right. I just associate Fight Club being Scarface for White guys I guess I may have overestimated it's popularity with how many memes there are of it out there. It's themes are much more subdued than the extremes in Lambs.

I like that "Scarface for White guys". I think Fight Club is a great movie and deserves to be ranked high. Silence of the Lambs will always win for me between the two though because it made sweet British old man Anthony Hopkins absolutely terrifying.

I still think it's the top tier portrayal of a psychopath. Hopkins' eyes are chilling.



It's a shame it was followed up with such a dog **** sequel. It just shows that studios should know when to leave well enough alone.

I'm so glad I made the drive to Dallas to see him at his last appearance this year. Blows my mind that he's gone because he was friendly with a lot of energy when I saw him. I had no idea he was sick.
