I know. Everyone was losing their minds about how great a movie it was going to be because Gibson was directing. He probably watched the first one and said, "**** that!" I love that the last candidate dropped out to film a movie with the Rock instead--even after Baywatch.

It seems the entire DCCU is the ugly girl that can't hook up at a party. No one wants to be apart of it, and the ones that do are just jobbers that want to eat

I think that's true. Any films past Justice League have been plagued with directors and writers leaving. There is zero cohesion in that studio. They've announced a ton of films, but nothing is actually getting done. The majority of what they have planned will never get made.

No, as far as anyone knows he's still Batman for another film. There's no way he can have any trust in the decisions being made at the studio though. Two things will probably determine if he stays: 1) JL gets rave reviews and makes a ton of money and 2) They let him work on a film by film basis so he can bolt if he wants to.

MOS: origin film.
BvS: Batman has been around forever and Robin is dead. Superman dies in his second appearance. They introduce Wonder Woman and tease the other JL members.
Suicide Squad: take place after BvS.
Wonder Woman: origin film.
Justice League: After BvS and SS.
