I can't believe the last three DC films dropped 64%, 69%, and 67% on their second weekend box office. They need to figure out some way to at least not drop more than the Marvel films. That's a lot of money they're missing out on.

The solution: make better movies! As a huge fan of both companies, it pains me to see WB mishandling these so badly. They're bush league compared with Marvel Studios. At least with Fox we get a mix of bad and good. Since Nolan? Just garbage and mediocrity at the WB.

I agree. I've been rooting for DC, but I can't get excited about what they're doing anymore. I'm the kind of fan that would see these movies over and over until they were out of the theaters if they were good. They're not giving me anything worth a repeat viewing.

I personally see even some of the Marvel stuff as fairly disposable entertainment. But at least it is entertaining to begin with. I'm not expecting a masterpiece like Dark Knight, but coherent, well told stories would be nice.

Marvel does a better job getting the characters right and tells stories that are their own but still tie in to the rest of the universe.
