Here's a review. Venkmen's suit has a blob of paint on his back, but it's under the pack at least. His one buckle is pretty much broken that goes across his waist for the pack. Ray has a white mark on the back of his head. Ugh.

Man, I got a stomach bug Thursday night and am still not 100% over it. This thing has been going around for weeks, and I thought I was in the clear since it hadn't hit me yet.

I finally opened my Ghostbusters figures last night. I just checked them out quickly--haven't put the packs on or anything yet. Luckily, I don't see any QC issues so far, but I'll take a closer look when I actually get them set up. I have to say, overall, I think they turned out great. I'm not even that bothered by Winston's HS paint.

There was also a nice little bonus when I opened the box--a $40 coupon from Timewalker for paying in full by August.

Stupid ****ing SDCC. I didn't get tickets for any new days so I only have Thursday and Sunday. That's a lot of ****ing money to spend on airfare and hotel for two ****ing days.

Yeah, I've always gotten at least three days--one year I got all five. I just have to decide if I want to spend a few thousand dollars on airfare and hotel for two days of convention. There's other stuff to do around the area, but two days isn't much time to spend inside the convention center.

That reminds me, I saw an article today about how people may be showering too much. Really? I don't think we've hit the high point of cleanliness where the general population should be told to bathe less often. For conventions especially, there should be a mandatory "twice a day" rule. In fact, convention volunteers should be allowed to carry a spray bottle of Febreeze and douse people at their discretion.

Good to know the Winston paint is at least acceptable in hand . I can't imagine how much space the whole set would need along with the Ecto-1. Have you made plans on that or will you just worry about it when the time comes?

Simply beautiful. Are you planning to paint it in a clean cartoon scheme or perhaps a more realistic shading and weathering? Or maybe even both?
