oh man...he's back?

Oh the thief that stole other people's photos from conventions? That's what I mean, this place needs new management to flush turds like that.

Sadly, our vacation has ended. He has indeed returned. :lol

Agreed. It is what it is in that section. It's just he has a tendency to sour where he posts. Maybe he has toned down, maybe he's still the same. Only time will tell, I guess. It really doesn't bother me like it used to, but like Pro said above in regards to people going crazy over a movie, the postings from him in the marvel section are growing old, too. Who knows going forward with him. :huh

I can't believe he stuck around after that fiasco.

guess who's back... back again....

I loved Toys 'R Us when I was a kid. As an adult, it got more difficult to find what I wanted because the employees would snag the rare or hot collectibles first. I haven't been to one in years and don't have one in my town so I can't say I'm terribly upset about it. Now I'm more interested in seeing how closing the stores will affect toy companies.

Summed it up perfectly for me as well. Loved going there in the early days. Couldn't even tell you the last time I set foot in one. I don't even think I have ever ordered anything from them online, either.

I really hope NECA gets picked up by Target just to help Randy.
There's money to be made with NECA so you'd think some retailer would pick them up.

i've seen their stuff in think geek...

problem with the stores is going to be shelf space. going into any target/walmart... the space for collectible stuff is pathetic. the few super targets and walmarts around town have an aisle where TFs, Marvel and DC stuff, collectible stuff, etc is sold... and the space for each brand is about 3-4 foot long. there's no room and never anything worth while. and TRUs... i never and mean NEVER was able to find anything i wanted in there. like mentioned the trolls that work there strip anything valuable before the public has any chance. then the scalping POS that is allowed with guys wiping out 5 or 6 of the new releases makes it impossible to get anything there. loved going there 30 years ago when i was a kid... and feel bad for the people loosing their jobs... but not going to loose any sleep with the stores closing.

I'm pretty limited in my town in terms of brick and mortar stores--Walmart, Gamestop, and one comic book store and that's it. For any other major store I have to go out of town so I end up doing most of my shopping online anyway(because going outside is dumb and my house is my Fortress of Solitude). As long as companies like NECA make their stuff available to online distributors then I'm good.

When it comes to the loss of TRU alone I'm in the same boat as many of you. I hardly ever shopped there and when I did the collectors items were few and far between. Both of the stores that are close to me aren't even THAT close.... still takes like 25 minutes to get there.

I'm just more worried about the ripple effects and how smaller companies like NECA will be affected. They will definitely have to adapt but we may start to see less unique figures from them for example.

Nicolas Cage is Superman in Teen Titans GO! to the Movies

Following the failed Tim Burton-directed movie from the 1990s, fans never expected they would get to see Nicolas Cage suit up as the Man of Steel. Now, the Academy Award winner is finally getting his chance and will voice the hero in the upcoming Teen Titans GO! to the Movies (via USA Today).

Cage joins singer/songwriter Halsey, who is playing Wonder Woman, and rapper Lil Yachty, who is playing Green Lantern, as the first of several A-List celebrities that will join the cast, according to USA Today.

When the Teen Titans go to the big screen, they go big! Teen Titans GO! to the Movies finds our egocentric, wildly satirical Super Heroes in their first feature film extravaganza—a fresh, gleefully clever, kid-appropriately crass and tongue-in-cheek play on the superhero genre, complete with musical numbers.

Teen Titans GO! to the Movies stars Scott Menville as Robin, Hynden Walch as Starfire, Tara Strong as Raven, Khary Payton as Cyborg, Greg Cipes as Beast Boy, Will Arnett as Slade Wilson and Kristen Bell as Jade Wilson.

What in the **** is WB doing? It's like they're going out of their way to troll DC fans. :lol
