I think the only reason to go back to previously done villains, is if they weren't done right. I think Freeze could make a great film, if it's influenced by TAS Freeze.

Freeze is a villain I'd love to be give a second shot and done seriously. The Gotham series did a pretty good job with him, but I'd like to see him done even closer to the animated series version.

Fun fact that no one seems to bring up: Arnold played Mr Freeze who was inspired by the BTAS rendition, who was voiced by Michael Ansara who also played the time traveling soldier in an episode of Outer Limits called "Soldier"", which is actually a direct inspiration for the Terminator.

Bonus fun fact: Deathstroke was originally called "Deathstroke the Terminator" in 1980 and was published as such but had the name cut after the sucess of, well, the Terminator.

Here's the full episode for free. It's obvious where James Cameron got the inspiration for the Terminator from, and even admitted it an interview in 1984 before asking for it to be omitted.

Agreed. I also would love to see Victor Szasz really get some screen time. He's so twisted and really highlights Batman's detective work.

Mad Hatter would be fun too.

Glad to see they're going with a cool bad guy. It'll be interesting to see what they do with his backstory and why he's at odds with Batman. I hope they can refrain from forcing Letoker into the film for another 10 minute cameo.

Pretty cool, but not a typical from his rogue gallery. Was hoping for freeze or clay face. But yeah, it will be a good fight cause he's a good fighter.

I'd be surprised if they don't throw in another villain. Deathstroke is a mercenary so someone has to be the pocketbook.

They should slow cook that story (the person pay-rolling death-stroke); built that up and leave us bread crumbs. I'm cool with small cameos but movies tend to stuff a lot of crap into 2 hours.
