I read a bunch of comments about the melty heads, but what I wonder is how melty do you want them? Stage 1 - Still recognizable actor (the pic above I would guess), Stage 2 - blood beginning to pour from mouth, skin running from the bone, Stage 3 - Practically a bloody skeleton? WorGar's avatar is a good place to see how Toht changes.

EDIT:

My favorite:

I've always been partial to the Stage 2: when Toht's eyes pop and his nose melts off.

:D

But your favorite, with pic above, is just too classic not to get as a 1/6th exclusive head!!!

I hope SS makes some 1:1 artifacts... of course we'll get them as exclusives or something at a smaller scale.

Yeah, that sculpt is sick looking! I think its been photoshopped with color, but if we see something close to that for production I will **** myself with glee :rock

And yes, I do **** glee :huh

Re: INDIANA JONES PREVIEW

I got the inside scoop on the new Indiana Jones 12-inch figures from Sideshow, pics and all.

:lol

Okay, seriously, I went to a local toy show in Phoenix today and one of the sellers had this figure and I wanted to share the pics. I apologize for the face being covered by the hat, but I didn't want to hassle the guy and ask him to open box and move hat just so I could take photos. I guess these were put out shortly after the movie, so sometime back in early 80's. He said these were a fairly limited release. Asking price was $295. We then talked about SS new IJ license and what will be shown at upcoming toy fair.

Re: INDIANA JONES PREVIEW

It's funny that the hat is pulled down over the face and there is no picture anywhere on the package of the head sculpt.

:D

Yeah, I know, I thought the same thing once I got home and looked at the photo. Oh well. I certainly wasn't about to drop 300 bones on him, so I didn't want to trouble the guy, but now I wish I had.

Re: INDIANA JONES PREVIEW

If memory serves, it's the same sculpt as the vintage Solo? I seem to remember they didn't even change the hair style. But I could be wrong.

That's right, it's exactly the same sculpt, down to the seventies hair, although they changed the colour of the eyes to brown.

With the packaging it's actually a really nice figure, though not worth $300 unless C10 mimsb!

Here's mine after 25 years:

Found him in my parents' attic this past summer, along with the original Well of Souls playset! I restored that and plan to use it with the Hasbro 3 3/4" stuff.

Looks just like the Bespin Han Solo head-sculpt!
