Just got mine out and set up. Man is this an amazing piece! Just one of the best items I've ever gotten. It really does feel like Ford has been shrunken to 1/4 scale. Pics coming tomorrow and man this is a nice end to my day.
I know. I think alot of people see colors differently, but I think I know how Ashton feels, this looks awfully damn green to me. Yet I can see how it could be brownish to some people. It's kinda like a poop green.
Just don't sell it, Josh! Congrats, on tracking one down.
She's certainly green, man---though I'm starting to wonder the same thing about some being more so than others. It's certainly plausible, especially now that a mysteriously African American Indy has popped-up
Check out some of the more recent pics in the PF Image Thread. A couple of those puppies are real friggin' green.
My jacket is brown. I haven't seen one yet that even looks green at all.
It isn't a dark brown by any means; but "green" isn't accurate either. I have no problems with it at all.
So I got my PF today and I'm definitely not happy... in fact I did a big WTF when I opened the box and saw that instead of Indy, I have Obama dressed up as Indy as someone else on the SF put it.
What the HELL were they thinking shipping me this?! And no, it's not the lighting, his head is really that dark and it really is that much of a contrast between his hands and his face. I actually opened this on my desk in front of my window earlier this afternoon when it was bright and it was still obviously screwed up. I was so pissed off, but now I'm laughing about it... waiting for SS returns dept to call me back for a replacement. I'm assuming mine got pooched for some reason. The head is literally the same dark brown color used for those diamond shapes on the base.
(Btw my camera battery was dead so I had to take this with my HD Cam... but this is exactly what it looks like to the naked eye)
I'd call the jacket "brownish olive" if that's a color. The length is more of an issue than the color, but either way it's not enough to keep it from looking great on the shelf.
I see what you say but also noticed that the wall in the background goes from light on the bottom to darker at the top. The lighting differential is also apparent on the leather jacket which is shinier at the bottom but almost black at the shoulders..
#814 in the house. My second PF (1st Boba), and I am very happy with him. Amazing likeness, and quality, dead on Ford IMO. I can't stop looking at him.
