Interesting to see the site crashing even in Streamline. Especially with a lackluster Exclusive....I like the price though. I got an exclusive just to secure one but I'll be definitely checking etailers for a good deal on a standard.

Holy carp, that was hair raising. Took three tries to get it to take - but I got it. Can't wait, this is a fantastic piece with a spot on likeness IMO. Other than the old Ben 12" figure this was the only SS streamline that had some bumps along the way. Even with the bumps it is still better than most others out there.

For those who got it: Where do we have to go to place the pre-order? is there a link in the news? I didn't receive any e-mail.

I just googled SS toy and it took me to the priority preorder page. Took it about 8 minutes to log in, 2 minutes to place my order, and another 30 seconds for my confirmation e-mail.

After error messages, I keep trying the "Place Order" button and now it says "the exclusive is limited to (1) per customer". So I probably have it. It would be nice to get a T-number though.

You don't get an email. It just goes up on their site. Go to www.sideshowtoy.com it'll have a new page where it shows the PF and then just login on the right, after logging in it'll load a page where you can check the one you want to order, then you click Place Order, then for me it sat for like 5 minutes and then if it goes through it'll load up a new page with the order number.

I never got a confirmation order number, but I tried to repload the order page and hit the place order button...all I ever saw after that was the pop-up that said only 1 per customer...so hopefully my order went through!
