You know you want it!
I think I had that doll when I was young.
You know you want it!
I think I'm returning mine.
Typically, when I get a new premium format of a character I enjoy, there will be a stretch of time during which I can't stop looking at it. With this one, I've more-or-less just set it in a corner and forgotten about it. I'd rather hide $300 in my pocket and not look at it than hide a $300 statue from my line of sight.
This statue is TRULY stunning. Don't let the jacket bother you - it's possible to make it look better just by hitching the pants up and more importantly, pulling the jacket forward so it sits on the shoulders better. Most of these photos where the jacket looks too short is because the jacket is falling off the back of the shoulders (plus the pants are pulled too low).
I'm a HUGELY fussy collector but I just love this statue. Trevor's sculpt is without any doubt whatsoever, THE finest Harrison Ford likeness I've seen captured at any scale. Thanks Trevor!
Hey, Chris. You are correct that the sculpt is the best there has ever been. I wanted to show you some improvements if you want to take a stab at them. I'm sure you'd be able to knock them out if you're up to it.
I added the metal keeper by using some roofing flashing and also added the proper stubble by use of water soluble colored pencils strand by strand. They are easily erased and will also wash right off with a light washing of water in case you mess it up which I did several times. As you can see I extended the hair a little past the sideburns and made the section above the upper lip a little darker to match the distinct Raiders stubble. I also added some stray hairs all around as is usually seen in the film. Overall I'm very pleased with how my results turned out. Glad to see you here. I'm pretty much ghosting now but thought I'd post since I saw you here, brother.
