:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl Man...chill out...sorry if I misread your post but I was just making a point as you were also.

Not a problem. No one is getting heated.. it's just discussion. I just will never understand how come people feel the need to overlook certain things and not be honest and real about them just because they own them/like them. You can be honest and say "yeah this is flawed" and STILL like something. The jacket is short, that's a fact. But that doesn't mean this isn't the best Harrison Ford/Indy likeness around. And it doesn't mean this PF is any less spectacular. It's a beautiful piece and definitely a grail/center piece for any fan or any collector in general. Especially compared to the Cinemaquette version which is like $1700 dollars more.

I think people aren't necessarily doing that but moreso just being realistic and expecting that nothing in this world is perfect. Though the PF comes damn close, most are content with the minor discrepancies if noticed at all. This is a great piece, arguably Sideshow's BEST. Why ruin it for everyone else with knitpicky bullcrap reemphasizing issues that have already been addressed for pages and pages?

P.S. Mine arrived yesterday and looks great (except for a busted buckle on the pistol belt). Those comparing his skin tone to Obama need to either have their eyes checked or cut down on the soaps. :p

No, there's a difference between "yeah it's flawed but I still love it" and complete denial like "there's nothing wrong with this. It must be YOURS because mine is perfect" etc. I take issue with someone acting like 1. people are lying or delusional when pointing out obvious flaws in something and 2. when someone acts like they magically got a "good" one while everyone else must've got a "bad" one. It's sad how people pretend like something is absolutely perfect when obviously it's not. No one expects perfection or 100% accuracy with mass produced pieces like this. But this is a discussion board and people need to understand that talking about everything, good and bad is part of discussion. If you don't want to read/see the "Same things said over and over again" log off. If you want only YOUR opinion heard and you want to disregard everyone else's then the internet is not the best place for you.

Exactly. I TOTALLY agree. :clap

Oh boy....

If people are genuinely starting to question the color of his jacket in the film now, there is a case of severely unhealthy devotion to Sideshow Collectibles going around :lol

Gee :lol, I wonder who one of the instigators was...:stick

If you don't want to read/see the "Same things said over and over again" log off.

Then don't get whiny when people rag on you for a redundant post. If you don't like that, take your own advice and log off. Or avoid it by taking the time to at least scroll 5 pages back before making a post. Everyone's entitled to post an opinion and others are entitled to comment on said opinion.

If you want only YOUR opinion heard and you want to disregard everyone else's then the internet is not the best place for you.

You were the one ragging on others for commenting about your jacket remark. So again, heed your own advice here bub.

I even got a very low numbered piece!

Just received my Indy and very pleased with it...simply amazing PF...and yes the jacket is a bit short but not that bad once you pull it down a bit, Jacket may not be perfect but overall it still looks frigg'an fantastic!!

Here is a pic (everyone got lots of pics up so I just played around with lighting and posted a different one) shall post some with regular light the week.

Got mine in. Great PF. Only complaint is the skin tone. Way to dark. Will probably send it off for a repaint.

Got mine last week but only got to open it today, yeah, the skin tone is too dark and talk about extremes, seeing this after thinking how the 12" figure's skin tone is too light. Oh well, I'm just happy that these got made and I might repaint, or might not...and that's my final decision!

As we continue to get this topic back on track, I received mine yesterday and am very happy with it. Pictures to follow I hope soon.

And let's keep this on topic and take any personal conversations to the pms.

mine is up for now. I am worried about dust, so does anybody have ideas for a display case?

First of all, You should swing Indy's bag over to his side instead of in front of his 'package'! :gun

Also, Indy is SUPPOSED to be dusty, so what's the harm if he gets a little dust on him. He'll just look more 'travelled'! Hehe.

Seriously though, I've seen some pics on the board with some great display covers, surely someone has an answer for you here...

Its a personal choice that I'm going to wait for someone just like you to decide they don't like it any more and sell it to me for a 25%loss. Not sure how that's chicken little or paranoia. Seems like a rather smart strategy. Sorry that makes you feel like you have to lash out and make up for some personal inadequacies or try to justify buying it at full price when someone else is going to wait and get it for less. Jealous that you don't have the willpower to wait maybe?

Basically you're saying that my unwillingness to pay what I think is too much for something makes me an idiot. Ok then. So maybe in 12 months I won't have a Indy PF...ooh. At least I'll have a bank account.
