I just finished watching the America pilot episode. It's basically a word for word remake of the British pilot. The only changes were small changes to take the absurdity down a notch. Not good...

but the absurdity is what makes it work..

No series 5... But there will be an extended "special" episode!

I'll say right off the bat...the bad news is no IT Crowd Series 5. The good news is an extended special next year called...actually I won't tell you the title because you'll end up imagining better storylines than the one I've written.

On one hand it's best the show goes out while the fans are begging for more. But... *snif*
