From what I read and saw, he'll pretty much make anything you want. Dont know how up to date it is though.So...

I don't think it would hurt to contact him and see how quickly he replies to a question. I mean, if your dropping over a grand with the guy, it would be nice to know that he would keep good contact incase you had any concerns. Particularly during a 6 month wait period. Maybe he can tell you how busy he is currently?
