Well Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition did not recognize the PS3 version's trophies, so this will likely be handled the same way. A separate game with a new trophy list, even though they will likely be exactly the same. I'm down to get all of them again, except for the damn multiplayer...

That is probably the case. I played the multiplayer only once or twice. Teammates weren't the best and I didn't help their cause. None of my core group of gamer friends played this game so I could never develop a rapport with anyone anyway.

I never play online MP, but I wanted that damn platinum. I will say that I had a rocky start, but after a while I really got the hang of it (memorizing the maps helps a lot) to the point of coming in first or second in parts most matches, and second or 3rd in downs/executions. I never played with any friends, either, but the MP is so brilliant in promoting teamwork, I didn't feel it was necessary.

Exactly. Very smart move by ND and Sony.

Plenty of 360 owners (who ditched Xbone in favor of PS4) will now get the amazing experience they never had. I reckon this thing is going to sell very well, and rightly so.
