The Last of Us – New Add-Ons: Gestures and Head Items
New add-ons for Factions multiplayer arrive for The Last of Us and The Last of Us Remastered.
By Eric-ND | Twitter @ermonacelli | Tuesday August 05 2014

The Last of Us Remastered launched last week and we’ve enjoyed hearing your reactions and watching your Twitch streams. Your #PhotoMode images have been breathtakingly good. If you haven’t jumped into Factions multiplayer, now is the time. All throughout August we have some great new content rolling out.

Starting today the Grit and Gear Bundle and new Gestures can be purchased when the PlayStation®Store updates in your region. These items will be available for The Last of Us on BOTH the PS3 and PS4.

Next week we’re continuing to give you ways to prepare your Factions clan for post-pandemic survival by releasing the Professional Sports Bundle. This bundle is available for PS3 and PS4 as well.

You can buy the new Gestures individually or grab a bundle of all three for $2.49. The Grit and Gear Bundle features six items and costs $6.99. Professional Sports Bundle has seven items and runs $7.99. Both head item bundles each feature an exclusive item that can only be obtained by buying the bundle.

We have more Add-On content coming two weeks from now. From that drop we revealed one map and showed off some of the new weapons on our Twitch channel in July. We’ll detail another new map, the weapons, and some new bundles over the next couple of weeks. Be sure to watch our social channels for latest The Last of Us news and Add-On content all month long. See you online!

Why do some parts of Grounded Mode seem way more difficult on the PS4 than they did on the PS3. I don't remember being this angry at any point. :lol

More than Rumor - Eric over at ND via their official forums has let 'slip' that when the 2 new DLC maps hit, they won't be free. Which really means that their whole 'all maps consolidated on PS4 for faster Matchmaking' is completely not true. Needless to say, fans via the official forums are 'freaking out.' When he was called out for the claim 'all maps togeher' he basically argued, 'that was then, this is now' concept which went over like a fart in an elevator

I'd hate for a DLC1 playlist for 2 maps - horrible way to divide the player list. ND never learns with Matchmaking

Let's do a mini survey here: Am I the only one who plays the game without subtitles? I've never used them, even the first time playing as it kinda takes away the immersion for me. Every single review I've seen (including Angry Joe's above) seems to have it on. How do you cats feel about it?

I had subtitles on for the first couple of playthroughs, like I do for most games. While my bedroom and living room are on different floors, I don't think my wife would appreciate my having the TV at a solid volume, and hearing muffled Clicker screams at 3 AM.

For games that allow it, like TLOU, I usually keep dialogue at max, and FX at like 50%. That helps, but I still play it somewhat safe.

But given that I'm now on my, I think, ninth playthrough, I have them turned off since I'm not worried I'm going to miss a word here or there.

So, as for the question - all things being equal, I'd have them off. Especially because I always read them before the first word is actually said, so it screws up the delivery.

Hopefully this will motivate them to start working on part 2 if they havent started already.

I'm replaying this game.... and I keep dying.

Tried sneaking around them.... died. Shot them... died. Its been day three.
