The demo was pretty lack luster TBH. I wont be buying the game for a good while after its released. Im more so interested in peoples hype over the game than the game itself. Looks pretty dull. But ill wait for reviews

I think the demo was pretty good, but it was WAY too short for me. It would have been nice if it was at least a 30-45 minute good demo to show you more of the customizing and and especially the combat. I felt like there wasn't enough in the demo to let me get comfortable with the combat.

Attended a Playstation Asia Event in Singapore previewing the game. Got some pics of the Statue that will be included in the Post-Pandemic Edition.

Very detailed and overall a fantastic-looking statue but there seems to be an issue with Joel's Eyes..
It's not very light but not very heavy either.

I checked out your blog, and I'm a bit confused about the two artbooks. Will the Survival Edition come with the mini-artbook, and the full-size one can only be bought separately? And I wonder if the contents are the same, just on smaller pages. I wish the retailers made this clearer lol.

Yes the pics are mine. I have seen an Arabic site and someone else on this thread re-using the pics without linking back to the original site or giving credit.. Oh well..

My post was under review, probably because I'm still on my first few posts, which is why it seems to have just appeared..

The art books.. The Post Pandemic edition (US version) comes with the mini art book and the Survival Edition (US version) comes with the full size art book but...
The Asian version of the PPE comes with the full size art book and the mini art book is in the special edition which is similar to the Survival Edition.

In Asia, we keep our editions simple.. No fancy names..

Thanks for the info! I had no idea about the mini artbook, I'll know what to expect now. I had both editions on preorder because I had trouble understanding until you made it clear.

@MattS: I ordered mine from EBGames, they had it for a short while, then it sold out, was briefly relisted, and has been sold out again for a while now. I didn't know of any other US retailers that offered it, but it's possible. I almost missed my chance to get it myself lol, it didn't hang around for very long.

Thanks, Mogli - the statue looks cool, for sure, but I am pretty happy with the Survival one - good to know some got the ultimate version!!

Well, went to my local Hastings that had GOW on sale for $40. Love the series, but wasn't going to drop $60. but at that price, it became a 'must buy' especially with the Last of Us demo...downloading it now - had to hook my PS3 back up to a wired connection. Its WAY too SLOW on a wireless connection for some reason.

GOW had some serious installing to do - glad I have a 500 gig hdd in my PS3 now - hope I can swap it out when the PS4 hits too

haha I'm going to avoid all articles now for the next few weeks, I always spoil things by mistake. But speaking of multiplayer, I'm actually a little interested in what they come up with, since it's third-person. If it can remind me of Metal Gear Online to some extent, I might actually enjoy it. Of course , I won't really care either way, it just might be a fun bonus.

PS there is a demo glitch - if you get to the end when Joel says, 'Come on down' then immediately hit the option 'Restart Encounter' it'll take you to the next part of the demo, which consists of an extra 10 seconds including a dead body and a metal door! Lame but true...lol
