I'm doing that now. Apparently you have all your upgrades but not all your weapons are available from the beginning, although they are upgraded when you find them.

Well I guess this Joel is finished. I'm not really happy with it but here ya go. I got burned out with this one so I will start fresh tomorrow with something different. I might try to sketch out Ellie with the Bow Rambo style.

This is what I might do for Ellie, I always liked this shot of Sly.

The ending was perfect. He lied to Ellie at the very end and I think she knew it, and accepted it. The story of Joel and Ellie is over. I picture them at Tommy's place living their end, however that may be, whether old age or a Clicker. If there is a sequel, set it in the same world with a whole new story and characters. These 2 are a part of what is left in this world.
What Joel became through the course of this game was something I have a hard time putting to words. Him putting her at a distance at first and then destroying hope for a cure, for her (or himself?), at the end was done so brilliantly. This game need to end here IMHO.
Video games are mainly exceptions to sequels as they tend to get better by the 2nd one but this needs to remain untouched.

I would want it to be years after the first. Ellie is now eighteen and throughout the game she finds out the truth and teams up with different characters with different backgrounds. I know a game this perfect doesn't need a sequal but that ending had me wanting more.

I could honestly see a sequel - how often does a new IP occur that starts and ends with one game these days?

Playing Survivor mode - feels about the same as Hard mode to me, albeit less items to find.

Great game, played the hell out of MP too - that's a lot of fun

I agree with you 100%. I thought the ending was perfect and there is no need to continue their story.

As for Ellen Page's reaction to her likeness, eeuuh, kinda late reaction, no? I'll admit that Ellie used to look a lot like her but after the redesign, I don't think they look alike.

Best part for me was the giraffes. What a beautiful and touching moment. Just wow.

Definitely my all time second favorite game. I cannot wait to start it on the hardest setting later!

Stalkers spawn immediately after getting the card, confrontation is unavoidable. Although the Bloater doesn't spawn until after the Generator. If you get the card first you need to kill 2-3 Stalkers IIRC and when you start the generator you need to kill 2-3 Stalkers and the Bloater. If you start it and run to the card reader door the Bloater and Stalkers are in that hallway already so I assume that's where they spawn after the generator is on.

Be sure to have at least 2 Molotovs and maybe set a bomb to cut at least one Stalker out of the equation.

This part kicked my *** yesterday. Had to step away from the game because of it. Will pick it back up tonight hopefully and get passed it.

This game alone has convinced me that while I don't have very much time to game anymore, I still have a passion for it and will be picking up a PS4.

This part kicked my *** yesterday. Had to step away from the game because of it. Will pick it back up tonight hopefully and get passed it.

This game alone has convinced me that while I don't have very much time to game anymore, I still have a passion for it and will be picking up a PS4.

That part can be hit or miss. It either can be difficult or downright impossible.

Wish I had taken a day off myself, but too much work to do. Hoping to have an hour or so tonight to play.

Well Survivor just feels like a slightly beefed up version of Hard Mode. No listening isn't as bad as it sounds. The biggest challenge in Survivor is the utter dead zone of finding next to no items.

I don't really use listening mode very much now, but I do like scavenging items. I spend more time exploring I think than anything else.
