I haven't read the comics, but from what I'm taking from the article, the comics were female centric but that was changed with the movie to put a man in charge.

I can't wait until James Bond is a black woman.

This summer, get ready for Tyler Perry's "Jane Bond". Starring, Beyonce as everyone's favorite British spy, Tyler Perry as "M", "Q", and "Medea",and with original music by Jay Z, Kanye West, and Justin Bieber. Bond is back with an attitude, and once you go black, you never go back! Rated PG-13. :monkey3

you folks game for an all male lead charlie's angels??
rejected magic mike meatheads would be keen to fill the roles.lolz

:lol Heaven forbid.

I know a lot of people wouldn't like a black Bond, I wouldn't either, simple because his character isn't, but I have to wonder if it would bother anyone if he were American. It would me because, once again, his character isn't.

Yeah it's "retarded" that an Alan Moore work be made true to the original?!? God forbid.

It's just pathetic how threatened some of you are by this notion. Men have something like 70% of speaking roles in Hollywood. Your disproportionate dominance of the medium will not be threatened by a Mina-Harker-centric film version of this franchise, especially given how awful the first film version was.

Mina was tasked to assemble the group of individuals who'd never work together and kept everything under control.
She let Mr Hyde to touch her boobs without hesitation knowing that it was for the greater good, FFS! :lol

While making a mere mortal woman from the novel into one bad ass vampire.
In the movie she fought and killed Dorian Gray, which was awesome.

i'd be keen in a gender swap reboot of brokeback mountain. :monkey3

The Ween, the only other woman in this thread, is the only other person who appears to have actually read and thought about what was being reported rather than just reacting for the sake of reacting with a stream of totally unrelated homophobic, racist, and transphobic remarks. So much for which is the more rational sex.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Star Puffs again.
