I'm guessing Marvel didn't want to be on the screen with DC and/or vice versa.

There is one very rare case where opposing, rival characters (from the real-world business sense) actually were on film together.

That was "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?".

From what I've read, both Mickey and Bugs Bunny have the exact same amount of screen-time and even the same amount of words spoken.

Honestly, I really hope Marvel Legos will be in the next one. I think adding the Marvel's Hulk to contrast DC's Batman would be hilarious. And toss in some cameos by Captain America, Nick Fury, and Spidey (if that's possible unless Lego Spidey on movie screens is considered SONY).

Interesting though, I don't think it's far-fetched. Do you know who published Lego Marvel Superheroes: the video-game? WB Games!!!

Lego must've been pissed being caught in the middle of that battle.

Then again, movie is doing really well w/o marvel characters.

I was watching it and thinking, hey where is SW and Marvel?

Then the SW cameo happened so I was waiting for the Marvel one and it never happened.

I didn't think that WW or Superman were handled very well.

Especially with Taters voicing Superman...

It probaly would of been like roger rabbit all over again. In order for Mickey and Bug bunny to be on screen they had to have the same amount of screentime or else it would of been a no go.

I was surprised they went with the recently released Falcon instead of the super detailed UCS set from a few years ago. It's not like they didn't have access to it

maybe too big, or Lego wanted them to use the one that people can still buy.

Still want them to re-release that set though, I'd totally buy it for $500 but these days it's going for $3,000+

Does LEGO still have the Marvel license? Seems like the last kits they made were from IM3. I wouldn't be surprised if Marvel gives it to KRE-O, given their working relationship with Hasbro.

Anyone else in here can't stop singing everything is awesome?

Me too. I saw it last night and it was AWESOME!! It had lots of funny bits, great characters and a cool story. There were so many scenes that made me laugh like the Astronaut going 'Spaceship!!'.

My only criticism of the movie is
the live-action part. It went on for too long. IMO It should've ended when Emmet went back through the magic portal.

Does LEGO still have the Marvel license?

Yep. Here are the new sets due out later this year. Red Skull, Falcon, MODOK, and Taskmaster baby! :rock

Saw this with my 5 year old son this weekend, we both really enjoyed it.

Can't say I know the answer, but was this all stop-motion or was some CGI used?
