Last one for today. Fun stuff. It's a 1/6th chess set. Reminds me of the Easter Egg chess set in Fallout 3.

Pretty cool for any diorama. Years ago, someone did a diorama of a sports bar or something like that, a section of it, and he mentioned it took him like 15 years to find odd bits and pieces, here and there, to fill it out. He found Xmas ornaments, unique pieces in vending machine prizes, stuff from overseas, some custom bits, etc, etc. It's something most people in the hobby don't think about. But to create a pretty immersive diorama set up, that project could take years and years to truly develop it all out. It's not hard to find weapons, boots, uniforms, etc, etc. But how about a coffee machine? A microwave? Etc, etc.

Last one for today. Fun stuff. This was, IIRC, the first attempt at a 1/6th stand alone modern military ammo belt with links. One of the struggles, of course, is to add realism, these standalones were metal based. However the 1/6th machine gun was likely plastic. So the weight, angle and drag would make posing hard for some people, as the ammo belt would drag the machine gun off kilter in a pose.

Something to consider is this type of tooling at this scale was far more difficult over 20 years ago. While more current figures have a few metal rounds as chase pieces/novelty pieces/diorama pieces, you won't see many companies go too crazy with making large metal ammo belts all the time.
