I just got Kit to make a Cthulu figure. I plan to throw the stupid droid head and other stuff away. Fah, fah Kit Fisto says I.
I think this is really amazing. I planned to get him only because I start out every line as a maniacal completist. For most I lose interest about the same time SSC does. Exception is Universal Monsters. I'll never lose interest.
After seeing the figure I really like him. tentacles rock as any Hentai fan will tell you and I already have the Japanese Schoolgirl from Skynet for a "special" display. Not really.
Sorry, I digress. Seriously, it's a good looking figure and I'm happy to have it on order to add to my little SW shrine. I'm still not a fan of the character (though he was cool in Clone Wars) but the figure rocks.
I really can't figure out the super speedy sellout though. Going by our little community a few people were pleased with the choice of Kit, a few more were like me and planned to buy him because were compulsive completists (I'm also in the four for four club), but mostly the reception was straight up negative. Just proof that almost any SW release will be gold. Pretty interesting.
As some others have mentioned I'm really looking forward to the Boba Fett and Darth Vader ordering days. I hope the exlusive Vader has an edition size of maybe 10,000 or so. Probably take almost an hour to sell out.
And big kudos to SSC on the way they handled the ordering this time. The heaviest volume ever based on the speed of the sellout and the quickest and easiest for most of us so far. It was a pleasure to order this time.

Why order the exclusive if you're getting rid of the "stupid droid head"?

You might want to get a regular from a dealer, at a lower price, and cancel your exclusive order to give another collector a chance.

Rock on with Cthulhu and Japanese Schoolgirls, by all means. Just a suggestion. :)
