just looks fantastic Greggo!!! made a good figure into a great one!
Ah yes, the crazy Irishman version:

I do like the angry face, and the sword is very cool.
If they came out with a battle Alice, I would buy both.
Hi I'm new i just registered but I would really really like to know if the fabric hat from the hatter barbie will fit the Medi hatter or if it is too big, i prefer the barbie hat because it is real fabric over just molded plastic.
EDIT: I meant to say the TONNER doll hat, as the barbie one is also made of just plastic.
why can't they just make real hats on these guys?! :/
EDIT2: Ill just repaint the hat better like Greggo, i guess it'd be easier than buying a 200 dollar figure just for the hat. lol.
The hat wouldn't work anyway as the Tonner figure is 17" and would be too big. It's also not an accurate version by any means. I'd be very interested in seeing what you end up doing. I'm very nearly done with my own Medicom Hatter overhaul. I repainted the hat after prying it off of his head. Not something I recommend doing. Lol
Is anyone getting the battle Hatter? I don't see the point in getting a second figure as I'm going to be making his battle outfit for the current figure anyway. But I'd love to see pics of the end product.
I'll post pics of my Hatter once I finish his tie, but if anyone is interested in WIP photos I've got the process documented on my deviantART account: https://la-siren-of-eire.deviantart.com
Wow! Rooted hair and everything!
Can't wait to see it finished!
One question: where did you get the 1/6 scale tea cups etc.?
Also: WELCOME!
WW Siren your hatter looks amazing!!!
My hatter just came today and i must say its a great figure as is, sadly the peacock feather fell off and ill have to glue it back on.
but yeah siren your hatter rocks keep up the good work.
oh, and thanks for the info on whether or not the tonner hat would fit,
i dont think im going to try to remove the one he already has on as it is nicely cemented onto his head. ill revamp him later but right now im too lazyyy.
Thank, Maglor, glad you like him. I appreciate the welcome, too.
The tea cups and other items are almost all Re-ment which I found on ebay or through https://www.dollyhair.com Several places online sell them both in the States and abroad.
Haven't heard of "Re-ment" before now. You are referring to this?
https://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&site=&source=hp&q=Re-ment+tea+cup&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=a20cfd04ba3c5cf9
If you could post a direct link to the cups you used (and maybe the tea pot)? I would be forever in your debt.
WOW Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I will check out that second link in more detail when I get home from work! Where were you 6 monthes ago (or whenever it was) when I got this figure?! I was desperatly trying to find a 1/6 tea cup! The Hatter needs something to hold on to other than the red hanky!
I hope to find a tea cup that looks more or less screen accurate.

Even if they aren't perfect, I rather like this set: https://cgi.ebay.com/Rement-Re-ment-Tea-Time-Fruit-Set-Blythe-5-/130463036682?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e6033f50a#ht_554wt_698
Cheap too!
Where was I??? Where were you and this thread when I got my Hatter and searched for hours trying to find people owned him? Seriously, for some reason no search engine picked up Sideshow's forum and since I didn't preorder him from Sideshow, I didn't know the forum even existed.
I do like that set a lot, too. I have searched high and low for one that is more screen accurate and have yet to find it. The one thing I did find was that the re ment tea pots don't line up exactly scale-wise with what the screen used pot should be in 1/6; they are smaller. What I plan on doing eventually is getting a miniature teapot that's a little larger than rement and is closer in shape, then painting it. Something like this https://cgi.ebay.com/MINATURE-TEAPO...972?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27b78b018c . You could find the same for the cup. The big problem is, unless, something is specifically made for 1/6 scale, miniatures can be either way too big or way too small. Still searching for something better, though. If I find I will definately share the info.
You are very welcome, btw. I'm glad I can help.
Well I'm glad you found us eventually!
All very interesting. I think size is the biggest issue for me. I want a tea cup that looks right in his hand. If the color is off, repainting is easy enough. I didn't even think of that!
