I never requested or even thought about Man-Thing in all reality. I've always loved the design and will definitely be ordering now that its come to pass. I which it were a PF though, many people equate PFs with just cloth. PFs by definition is mixed media, which means they could have used faux moss and other materials on top of the sculpted polystone and made it shine. I'm psyched about this piece but I can't lie and say its even in my top 10 of requested pieces.

While I am not interested in the piece, that idea actually sounds kind of cool.

I'll definately get em BUT only if he will be holding a flag and the Ex will be of him holding his helmet

That would ROCK.....errr.....that would TWIG!!!!

I like it. The sculpt looks cool, I never would have thought of SS doing a Man-Thing comiquette.

For me Man-Thing was always one of those creepy characters that inhabited the dark side of the Marvel Universe. :D

:lol:rotfl:lol:rotfl:lol

But that's not really a model....

It's Man-:chew who converts to a supermodel whenever he wears his leaf helmet....it's in issue # 1.

It's called 'variety', it's the spice of life. ;)

:lol It's also called poor marketing strategy.

Then again, that's just my opinion and as I've said many times before, I'm happy for those fans of this character. It's looks to have a lot of promise. I'm sure Sideshow has a "rhyme and reason" for this one.

yea with Dracula and Howard the Duck:rotfl

To me Man-Thing is like in the same class as Human fly, Devil Dinosaur,Micronauts and Howard the duck.

I wish this was Wendigo or even Sasquach from Alpha Flight

There are obscure characters that still have meaning in the Marvel Universe.

Whos side was Man-thing on in Civil War?:monkey3

Fun Fact:

Marvel's Man-thing debuted in May of 1971. Two months before DC's Swamp-Thing debuted in July of 1971.

Wow...good thing you dont have a genie :monkey1

:peace

No ill wishes toward anyone, I just find it a tad annoying that when it's not a character a lot of people want, then it turns into a "piece of crap" or what have you. A company isn't going to make every single character we personally wish for, so when they do make a really obscure one, we should rejoice for the people who do want it, not knock the piece or the company.

That's way I've always liked the character... him and Swamp Thing both!

A good set of boobs gets you away with almost anything. :D
