They look to have a lot more light coloured dirt in the grooves of the armour. Fits to the Mando I guess, but I'm sure the Rogue Ones didn't have that much dust. It's fine, gives them some difference when standing with others.

I did notice in some of the final product photos that the weathering was differently applied. It looked a bit more subtle in some parts like the edges the helmet.

Part of me wants a Death Trooper for the collection, but yet I’m not sure if I really need it. Probably would just be the one if I decide to pick one up.

Here's a new shot of the DT Specialist from Rogue One for comparison:
It looks like the new version has less weathering and more pronounced white accent lines...a kind of "fresh from the factory" look.
Considering the the weather is also limited on the Incinerator Trooper and that this DS trooper is supposed to have accompanied Moff Gideon as well, it could appear that the Moff likes his troopers sharp and neat.

Nice catch. That build-up in the cracks does seem a bit more pronounced.
I like the "white lines"... the original Death Trooper can get lost on the shelf as just a black shadow of glossy plastic. The lines give it definition, especially since it doesn't come with the pauldron or torso pack to help break up all that black armor.

Still need to order one for a Navarro display. I think he’ll look great on a gray, ash style display stand next to the Incinerator Trooper.
Did anyone who ordered from TBA receive a shipping notice? He's had these in-stock for some time, but my preorder is still not processing.
Did you order first or second batch? I ordered second batch, haven't heard anything yet.
2nd batch. But I figured since nobody is paying the extra money for the 1st batch leftovers he would start sending them out for 2nd batch pre-orders.
And when the 40th Boba Fett was released I was 2nd batch, but he shipped it out a week after the 1st batch shipped.
Maybe email him and ask if he has an ETA? I'd be interested to know too.

I'm in the same boat ordering second batch and have yet to hear anything. This was my first preorder with them to be released, so looking forward to see the time difference between initial release and second batch.
Same here as well. Waiting for a shipping confirmation. Not sure we can really draw conclusions from the delay between batches at any given etailer. I firmly believe it can vary greatly from a a figure to another depending on how popular it is and how long it takes for Hot Toys to honor every order.
Sending an email to TBA asking about second batch, since Sideshow seems to be getting theirs.
Wow! That was quick. I've got "2" on a payment plan. May have to pay those off so that they ship sooner. I may need to do the same with the Mando & Child deluxe, once that one starts to ship out in a month or so.
TBA says very soon, possibly next week.
