I did a full body swap on mine with a Phicen M33, the figure is a dream to pose now.

Also, for what it is worth, you can achieve a much more natural walking pose with the M33 body too. I'll post an image when I get some time later

Good to know. Do you have a shot of him in a neutral stance on that body? Curious as to how the shoulders look head-on.

I posted a link above to Lucky's IG - he has several shots of the body swap, including some dead on ones. FYI - The shoulders are almost exactly the same width and bulk of the original HT body with the fat suit on.

Thanks...did you edit that or did I miss it? Working and scrolling through this simultaneously. Maybe not the best idea. :lol

Got mine just standing there, but hand is on the blaster in the holster, ready to go! Honestly I can't stop looking at it, the figure just looks so darn good!

My only issues are the arm joints at the shoulder are a bit tough to move forward and back. Was honestly really nervous to push it! Also it really feels bare bones with the hands and accessories. Really feel like this is the one that should've come with the knife, and wish they would've used a different base. I already have this one with Luke and wasn't a big fan of it then. Though the pikes and the impaled stormtrooper helmet make it work!

Overall though, it's an outstanding looking figure and I can't wait to see what improvements they make with the Beskar Mando, if they can make any!

Yeah the knife thing is kinda weird, as is missing a flame effect - the knife comes into use more than once Season 1.

On the other hand, the costume construction and details are IMO so outstanding, at some point I'll figure something out re other accessories; or just borrow off the DX down the road.:frank

Maybe HT didn't want to over-invest as they knew they already would be putting out the Beskar version. As a new SW collector, like the stand a lot. But I get that if you've seen it before, it wouldn't be that interesting. Except for the head.

D@mn. Impressive, most impressive...:clap

Removing the fat-suit improves the overall look alright...but the helmet still looks a tad under scaled. How does it compare in scale next to the HT fett buckets?
Fantastic shot:clap

Watching the Mandalorian again today I have to agree. Beautiful job on removing the fat under suits, but I still think the helmet is too small. :monkey4
Would love to find an alternative to replace it with.

Amazing pose and pic tbrisko! Out of curiosity, what kind of display cabinets do you have?

Thanks Darth KirBayBey! The cabinets are Ikea Milsbo, the Hulkbuster pedestal if from PedestalSource.

Quick, crummy iPhone shot of *some* of the cabinets

Wow! What an amazing collection you have! Thanks for the info, I'll have to check them out. How do they hold up compared to the Detolf? Also, what kind of lights are you using?

I prefer the look of them over the detolf. They feel much more stable and are well made. Pretty easy to put together too. I like that it is easy to hide wires in the corners and the shelves are adjustable so no more hardware store hacks for positioning shelves. They are more expensive though. they are $199 for a unit, where detolfs are $59 (if I recall correctly). So for the same amount of space you are still paying about $80 more. Well worth it to me though for all of the aforementioned reasons.

The only thing I don't particularly care for is that the door borders block the view of the center of the cabinet, rendering some additional space relatively unusable. I don't like to crowd my displays so this is a tad frustrating, though overall I am happy with them.

Regarding lighting -
I use led spotlights for figures that are organic or non-armored - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MRHSTQU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

For Iron Men and troopers, etc I use these - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L6W7HHE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That looks great, t. I?m sold on the swap. Did everything move over to the phicen without any mods?

Yes, I was extremely relieved that no cutting, drilling, blu-tacking or taping was required. The only "stressful" part is getting the top half of the flight suit on the phicen body. It wasn't particularly hard, just a tight fit, so go slowly there.

One other thing to note - the neck peg on the phicen is ever so slightly larger than the HT neck peg(or it simply doesn't have any give like the plastic peg) - but the helmet does pop on with just a little extra push.

How is fitting and swapping hands on the phicen? I’ve had issues with the wrist joints/posts breaking out of their sockets on those bodies before and the Mando hands feel quite rigid (mine arrived today too, it’s a beauty)

Thank you for all the info and your take on them! There is an IKEA in Atlanta, which is close to me, so I'll check it out and see how much I like it. Yeah I hate the part about the dorm boarders but I also hate the space you ultimately loose by placing 3 Detolf side by side. I really wish IKEA would simply make a double sized Detolf.
