I like someone's idea last week that he's Gideon's ace in the hole to keep tabs on Mando which is why Slave I showed up right before Gideon's cruiser. Then he and Fennec over-acted a bit with the "they're back" line just to play extra dumb about it, lol.

If Fett is in cahoots with Gideon it could also explain why he didn't volunteer to infiltrate the Imperial base and didn't turn the Slave I's cannons on any of the troopers on the rooftop. Sure he took out the TIE's but that was an act of necessity.

Lol, I fear we might be going full SNIKT with our Vampire Fett theories and setting ourselves up for disappointment so I'll try and prepare myself for him to just be honoring his word to protect Grogu and then be pleasantly surprised (no, pleasantly ECSTATIC) if they do otherwise.

One thing about this latest episode that I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around is why that secret mining base had so many troopers just sitting around at the complex instead of actually guarding the Juggernauts while they were en route with their super valuable high explosive cargo.

That IMO would be beyond ridiculous. Talk about convoluted plots. Unless they're planning on introducing Thrawn as someone making his own power play (separate of the Empire and Gideon) this would make no sense. And BF wouldn't be doing it for a bounty because Gideon was the one paying it.

One thing about this latest episode that I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around is why that secret mining base had so many troopers just sitting around at the complex instead of actually guarding the Juggernauts while they were en route with their super valuable high explosive cargo.

The empire didn't even provide escort did they it was just 2 drivers who had their hands full just concentrating on their speed.

The only support the empire set up was literally just for 300 feet from the garage entrance door lol

They were treated as if they were transporting fresh produce the tank didn't even have a sensor to alarm if someone jumped onto the roof of the vehicle.

Then again they did build the slow as snail death star with almost no turbo lasers and put their most valuable asset inside with control of a single laser.

It's all good did you see how happy they were after losing all of their tanks except one which they also really had lost.

An entire legion of my best troops awaits them....right in front of the garage door.
