I disagree. I thought the flashback scene in TROS looked perfect (for him at least, not so much for Leia.)

Well if it's something that brief than yes it could work, but if he's interacting/speaking with real actors for any length of time I'm pessimistic. CGI characters look great, but when it's a CGI recreation of a real person there always seem to be flaws.

Agreed. That's why I'd prefer it be something quick as a fun little moment either during a major battle or as the capper for the show. I don't want him as a major recurring character since that would either require a full recast or push the limits of CGI.

I feel sorry for SW movie fans who have never watched TCW or Rebels trying to keep up or care about these big reveals lol

Thank the maker I went and watched the main important episodes of TCW and that one Rebel episode or else I would be lost and just not care myself.

I simply just can?t get caught by my wife watching Rebels which is drawn like Pupp Patrol mixed with Handy Manny.

I know right, this show is all about the normie appeal and then Favreau and Filoni name drop major TCW TCW/Rebels character names as capstones to episodes as if 80% of the audience won't have a clue as to who they're talking about. :lol

:lol :lol :lol

Holy crap that's hilarious because it's true, lol.

As I mentioned in either this thread or another one my son and I finally finished binging not only the entirety of TCW but just finished Rebels as well and I ended up really enjoying both overall. Even with the Handy Manny art style I'd say that Rebels was a *much* stronger series over TCW from beginning to end. TCW really was saved by the final four episodes (which really were on par with some of the best SW ever.)

But Rebels totally won me over and I'd love to see not only Ezra and Thrawn but also Hera, Sabine, and Chopper (who already cameo'd in RO) as well. I'm not sure how they'd pull of Zeb without going full Unkar Plutt (practical suit with CG face.)

I wonder if they're saving Hera and Chopper for Rangers of the New Republic (okay ROTNR from now on, lol) but Sabine definitely is fair game for showing up in Mando.

Think that was the point tho. To get the unknowing part of the audience intrigued; or at least introduced to the names Ahsoka and Thrawn so maybe they don't dump their subscriptions the second Mando winds up.

Fans of Disney+ will have roughly 10 new series from Marvel and Star Wars alongside a cornucopia of other content. Disney plans on spending between $14 billion and $16 billion across its streaming ventures to make all those shows and movies.
Someone has to pay for all that content -- and that someone is probably you, the customer. If Disney wants to achieve its forecast of hitting profitability in fiscal 2024, it has to raise prices.
It said it will do that in March. And, after that, it'll likely have to do it again.

Kept my year subscription but dunno if I'll get an e-mail asking for more money in March from D+:pfft:

Earlier this year, months after the show's first season ended, we got an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at what it as like to make it in the form of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, a making-of series that dove deep into how the first season of the live-action Star Wars series was crafted. When it comes to Season 2, we won't have to wait that long. Disney announced Wednesday that Christmas Day, just one week after the show's Season 2 finale airs, will bring with it a new hourlong Disney Gallery special devoted to the making of The Mandalorian's blockbuster second season.

So, putting a period on Mando for a while, so hopefully folks will shift attention to the MCU.

Fine with me; was looking forward to the MCU series. Unless there's some horrible clff hanger.:gah:

Speaking recently during an interview on the BBC series The One Show, Pascal discussed rumors that the actor was lobbying for more screentime without Din?s trademark helmet on; in the more outlandish reports, Pascal was supposedly meant to have been considering actually leaving the show over it, which...seemed distinctly untrue even before his rebuttal.

?That is not true, actually,? Pascal said of his alleged desire to get more facetime on screen. ?It?s a really wonderful way of telling the story, it?s always been a very clear creed for the character and the collaborative process of the whole thing has been?we?ve all been on the same page with this, so I, you know, what I want is for them to make the best show possible however they get that done.?

It?s nice that Pascal pretty categorically shut those rumors down, because, well, they did seem very silly.

OK, so none of this BS really deserved comment - but *&^%% Grace anyway. Wish I had what she smokes, tho. Must be a real happy place in her head.:pfft:

I suspect the part that wants one will be happy...No way they wrap this season up in a bow...

Yeah, I picture F & F cackling like Palpatine, knowing the destruction they will leave behind. Don't know if folks will need therapy like after IW. I might, if Grogu goes all red-eyed Dark Side or something.:horror

Bad enough the closer Thursday gets, the more tense I get it's just a TV show:monkey3:cool:
