At least now we know what most likely happened to Grogu...he was probably slaughtered along with the rest of Luke’s Padawan by Kylo Ren. ST - the gift that keeps on giving.

Kylo Ren? ST? These words mean nothing to me. Maybe you're from some weird alternate universe where some soulless mega corporation made some bad fan fiction. In my universe, ROTJ leads directly into The Mandalorian.

He won't Wanga anymore...

I just love the fact that the staff is canon now. :lol

I've always had my Sideshow figure displayed with it regardless it wasn't in the film.

Jabba...Bib...Boba... Seems you have to be overweight if you want to occupy Jabba's throne!

It was a great episode though. So much in it.

At least Gideon's still alive. I was expecting him to be killed off.

Dave and Jon did it, they made a grown ass man cried.

The last ten minutes. They have the balls to do something we are so sure they never will. Not only did they honour the past, they also honour the fans in ways KK and RJ never did.

We are now truly entering the golden age of SW live action.

I always assumed Bib Fortuna blew up on the sail barge with everyone else. Oh well. His ass is dead now.
You can't Wanna the Wanga.

Im getting Boba The Barbarian vibes myself.

I'm the minority who always found Boba's look dorky and liked him based more on reputation rather than the look. So I'm honestly loving the black robes. And man, Ming-Na Wen's holding up real good...

I've found Gideon rather flat thus far, but I'm glad he's still alive. I like Esposito and maybe he'll get to do more stuff with the character down the line.

:exactly:

It instantly made me think it was staged like a Frank Frazetta painting, especially when Fennic sat on the edge of the throne.

My review of the finale:

If you are a diehard SW fan one thing will make you literally drop to your knees and cry in happiness.

If you are a diehard SW fan one thing will make you literally drop to your knees and cry in sadness.

Did this episode alone cost 300 million dollars I ask because the effects have now matched and in parts surpassed theatrical blockbusters.

Slave 1 never looked this good.

Oh and how the hell did
BF survive the sail barge explosion....dumb dumb dumb! Ughh another Maul scenario.

Anyways even with my one MAJOR MAJOR problem this was the BEST season finale ending of any show in the HISTORY OF TV SERIES...mic dropped.

This will be talked about and remembered at iconic epic levels.

THERE IS NO WAY WHAT JUST HAPPENED REALLY HAPPENED JUST NO WAY!

If SW is your thing....then this was HISTORIC!

LEGENDARY!

The ONE amazing thing made me forgive the ONE bad thing.

Mando is now legit iconic SW right up there with the OT.

Although
Mando should have given Grogu the ball at the end missed opportunity to make me cry even more. Using R2 to smooth the transfer was a great idea though. That being said wasn't Luke a little too cold in his demeanor.

Also
get that Ezra Bridger whatever his lame name is crap out of here thank the maker they had the guts to go BIG with the real deal true Jedi sorry Rebel fans lol

OMFG - That was amazing!

When the X-Wing showed up I got so excited I almost spilled my coffee lol. Luke gets his DV Rogue One scene and then some! :clap

His CGI looked great, but as I feared a bit too wooden the longer they had him in close-up and conversing with Mando. But I'm happy to let that slide given the payoff.
Almost missed the Boba Fett tag at the end. Another spin-off show with crossover potential. :yess: Mando's going to have more offspring than Frog Lady.

I was balling flat out balling crying trembling lol

Truly unbelievable that they really went there.

Shame they dropped the ball at the same time.

Had they got both characters right not just one this would have achieved ANH/ESB greatness.

I'll settle for ROTJ greatness though lol

I was about to turn it off but soon recognized there was still plenty of screen-time left lol

I DID turn it off and went downstairs to start my work day and thought I'd see what you fine folks had to say about it. I saw someone mention "Post Credit Scene" and went back to watch immediately! WOW!

Which character did they get wrong?
I saw pure perfection in Luke and I liked the fact that Fett honored his Mando word but also is clearly going back to the underworld to be the new kingpin in place of Jabba. So he's got some honor but he's still got that bad a$$ in him. And Fennic is just awesome!

Masterful! Tears of joys hit me so hard as I realised SW is back in the hands of people that truly care and fully understand what makes SW so great!!!

The perfect way to wash the vile taste of the ST away.

Finally, the future looks bright once again.

I think the only bad thing in this episode was how overpowered Mando was against the Dark Trooper and Gideon. I know it's Beskar, but at least show Gideon more like a soldier actually really trying to fight decent even witout his weapon.

Was expecting him to have to finish the episode with half his helmet cracked (like Batman in BVS).

Wait, what do you mean? He was overpowered BY the Dark Trooper and barely survived the encounter, then he fought and defeated Gideon - someone who isn't exactly a front line soldier. And once he was disarmed, you knew Gideon was most likely to resort to deceit to try to turn the tables.

I actually thought MG put up a decent fight lol
