They can still fix this mess lol

It would be easy to fix but just the fact that Favreau, Filoni, Ant-Man director, Temuera Morrison, and everyone else filming that one scene with Mando chick and not a single one of them thought "hmm, how will the audience react to a 40 year fan favorite character getting embarrassed by a no-name chick" gives me very little confidence that they will.

Why does Luke Skywalker have to show up? It's called "Star Wars" not "Skywalkers". We've yet to have one piece of Star Wars media on screen that doesn't have a Skywalker in it in some capacity. Just give us something totally disconnected from that name for once.

Why can't Bo-Katan take the Darksaber? She had zero issues taking it from Sabine in Rebels without a fight. She also ripped on Mando for his "way" for not taking his helmet off etc. yet she can't see past her own "honour". They also could have just had a friendly non-lethal fight over it, she would have won anyway.

How the hell did Gideon best Bo-Katan in a fight to get the Darksaber? Man cant fight for ****.

Maclunkey.

Sour grapes.

I loved that she couldn't take the saber, sets up great possibilities for next season. Now bring back Armorer and Deathwatch. Mando will wipe the floor with Bo. All hail The King of Mandalore!!!

Oh and holy crap the DT were like a legit threat and a great step up from the PT SBD.

They were pretty damn intimidating.

That is until you know who melted them like butter lol

Bad ass

Yep they were freaking awesome and now I realize that the entire point of their existence was to give Luke a "RO Vader" moment where he wasn't slicing and dicing actual body parts left and right. They couldn't have planned it more perfectly. :yess:

Unfortunately very true ughh.

Why would they do that while making history with that ending.

Why would they taint greatness like that.

Told you so. There was never a chance of anybody but Hamill appearing in this historic moment in Star Wars.

Well, if this show had been the one in my head, several years down the road, Western style, Din D'jarin would be walking into the sunset with Grogu; battles won (leaving all that training stuff aside), and run into Sebastian Stan as a Luke cameo. Like an insert between the time of Mandalorian and the ST.

And Grogu would not, in fact become a Jedi. Which seems to be something you need to commit to as opposed to being a Force user.

Heck when all this started it was blurry for me whether Din D'jarin was supposed to find Jedi or the planet Grogu came from (dunno if Lucas still insists that species and planet can never be known)

A jaw-dropping episode IMO including certain visuals, gonna take some rewatching to appreciate it all.

I watched it about 9 hours ago and I'm still buzzing with adrenaline.

I haven't been surprised by a TV show or movie since Ned Stark got his damn head chopped off.

I actually said "OH MY GOD....OH MY GOD" as the scene unfolded.

I'm glad I live alone and nobody witnessed me actually crying and freaking out like that Eric Butts *******. But it happened. I haven't cried like this watching TV since the Cavs won Game 7 in 2016.

The way everything is overhyped to death these days, this moment will probably be forgotten by the general public in a week. But this is gonna live on for me forever. This was like my personal "Who Shot JR?" or "Last episode of MASH/Cheers/Seinfeld" moment.

I agree with this 100%

Make that 101%.

Yep it's unreal that the final moments were never leaked after we knew well in advance that Ahsoka and Fett were appearing. UNREAL! :rock

Well it was actually leaked but i stayed away and i'm happy I did.

Jesus did they really go there.

Then again
he was in the holiday special afterall lol

But a de-aged Luke
holy crap they really did that.

One thing that I'm totally on board with is TM as Fett. He has definitely earned the role, every word out of his mouth told me that he could easily wipe the floor with everyone in the room. His only foe was the script.

Spoilers!

Incredible.....I cried too. THIS is the Luke Skywalker I grew up with.

That moment when Din takes his helmet off and Grogu touches his face...I lost it.

So if there is any path moving forward after the sequel trilogy...Grogu survived the Kylo jedi massacre and he restarts the jedi order. Perhaps Rey will help but this has got to happen correct?!
It's a big time jump from Mando to the ST - around ~20-25 years. So that's a thing.

Somewhere I read that Kylo & co. didn't massacre everyone - and it's entirely possible that Grogu would have left Luke's company by then. So in theory, yeah, there could be stuff past the ST with Grogu. But Disney's slate is pretty full already.

Dude when he slammed that trash talking Mando into the table I jumped up and high five myself.

:lol :lol

I can't believe we just watched new live-action SW that had these two characters just missing crossing paths with each other again. :thud:

Well it was actually leaked

Was it leaked or just speculated? I never read about any actual confirmation. Just talk that something like this could theoretically happen after Grogu signaled. Of course this is what I wanted but the way they executed the setup and delivery was so much better than anything I could have possibly hoped for.

I know the one glove look is kind of "his thing".....but why on earth didn't Luke just get his fake hand FIXED? It's not like they didn't have the technology.

Even dumber in those stupid movies where he just walks around with a completely cyborg hand hanging out for no reason.

I was freaking out thinking if Fett was jumping back into the scene to meet him even in a friendly way with Luke on his way out it would have worked with Luke doing a double take lol

Fett calling him Jedi.

Khev are you sitting.

Want me to redeem Fett for us even if for just a little.

Are you sitting!!

We finally got our KING CONAN BUT FETT!

Did you see how he was sitting on the throne at the end.

I instantly thought OMG KC! :yess:

Everyone please repeat after me:

:thud:
