Oh, and feminine. :lol

Come to think of it, a 5'7'', effeminate Vader wearing all that black leather could be very disturbing. :lol

Still super excited for this show, but I did think some of the vfx looked a bit... "TV"... in the trailer. It's not a $220m budget movie, so I'm assuming there'll be some shots that aren't quite going to be at that level.

He's like 5'7'' tho. :lol

With a body like the elephant man.:lol He was like one of those Indian contortionists in Joker.

I actually noted that as a positive about the show, lol:

Damn that RO cinematography. :drool

Though I love that a lot of it still has a bit of an 80's TV sci-fi vibe.

The blurrgs looked right out of the 1985 Battle for Endor movie.

Though I could see how it might be off putting to modern audiences.

Already looks a whole lot more cinematic than that CW, AOS and Titans crap.

Hell I think it looks more cinematic than even Force Awakens lol

I actually liked the first trailer better...
Still, this looks very cool.

And I know I'm weird that way, but would it be too much to ask for to see Stormtroopers for once portrayed as the feared troops they were supposed to be? You know, show them kicking ***... I think after the Tantive IV they never ever came out on top in a fight. :lol

For old farts like me that grew up experiencing SW first run in 77 this is beyond mind blowing historic.

If each episode is 1 hour long then we are literally getting 3 full length SW movies with Mandalorian PLUS IX all within a months time.

Let me say that again 4 SW movies within a 5 week window. :thud:

Obi-Wan will be the equivalent of 2 full movies!

Remember that SW drought we grew up with lol

I'd rather take that drought than the disdain I had between Episode VIII and when Disney+ starts:lol

I'm surprised at how few old time fans seem to appreciate this. I remember pining for *anything* SW live-action. Even a single frame or television commercial. And all we had was the Holiday Special, Pigs in Space, the Ewok movies, and an occasional 3PO/R2 appearance at the Oscars, lol.

Then the 1986 Star Tours ride which was like freaking nirvana. :yess:

Not that I ever want bad SW that taints the mythology of course, but until The Mandalorian does that yeah it's pretty mindblowing that we're going to get like two trilogies worth of new footage from that show alone. :drool

I have great hope for this show, but TLJ turned from being a rabid fan to being extremely cautious about any new material. I don't want my heart broken again!

Thank you at least you get what I?m saying unlike Wor-Gar who is so lost and blinded in his story group Jannah hatefest that he is just blowing off the historical components lol

Nowhere in my post did I mention anything about quality.

All I was addressing was the history being made by not only a SW tv show but the crazy fact that it all amounts to 4 FULL SW MOVIES IN 5 FREAKING WEEKS TIME REGARDLESS OF QUALITY!

It?s like everyone relax put the KK-Iger-RJ-TLJ hate, justified I might add, aside for just one freaking minute and just acknowledge the actual history being made.

Then go back to hating all you want lol

But as a 77 OG I am just in complete shock of what is about to take place again regardless of quality.

This is moon landing levels of history lol

5 weeks Khev, 4 SW movies worth of content wtf :thud:

Justified I might add.

Has nothing to do with my hope for Mando. I have faith in Favreau and Pedro.

Glad to hear KK, JJ and RJ have very little input. I hope that becomes a hard and fast rule at Disney around Star Wars projects now. They had their chance and near a billion dollars worth of budgets for the ST to prove otherwise.

Just ordered a Roku device so I can get Disney + on my tv... this looks very interesting so far.
