Well, on cable or streaming episodes can really be as long or as short as they need to be. I felt it was a good run time for an episode.

And I don't mind that it's not all available at once to binge...it's gonna be cool to see a new episode every week.

No message. I just searched for the app on my phone and under "new streaming channels" on my TV last night at about 11:30 pm CST and there it was ready to watch.

Good start, those grubby storm troopers looked super menacing. IG droid scenes were sooo good.

Yep just watched and have to agree, the show is off to an excellent start. I really hope it continues down the path it is on and doesn't devolve into a KK/RJ type bait and switch.

And I like that they're not focusing on space wizards, because the space western aspect was what always appealed to me more. As a kid I wanted to be Han Solo, never Luke Skywalker.

This one kicked off like a spaghetti space western.

The app is really struggling right now though. I can click and watch individual movies but when I click on shows like Clone Wars or Simpson's it doesn't give the option to watch episodes, only see a banner with nothing to watch.

That's funny, cause my one minor gripe was that I thought his ship was too plain and generic looking. Also too similar to the ship from Firefly.

Pretty minor gripe though.

Just logged in to watch, but it's slow to load... I feel a great disturbance in the streaming service... as if millions of nerds suddenly cried out in excitement, and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

EDIT: Yup ... just a banner for the show, nothing else.

The ship was a smaller, streamlined version of the Republic Gunship.

That 36 minutes was the best Star Wars since 1983.

If they can somehow maintain this incredible level of quality, this show will be legendary.

This was basically everything I had in my head when I played with my figures as a kid in the post ROTJ years.

I can't believe it. I can't believe I can finally FEEL something again. I thought my childhood sense of wonder was dead. This is just glorious.

With this reaction from you I'm concerned for Jye.

Surprised to hear the 1st episode was only 36 minutes... I thought too it was an hour (45min) or so per episode. Glad everyone seems to be liking this. I was excited to find out more since day one of hearing about it. Set in a proper time period, and from people that actually "get" and care about the Star Wars universe/mythology and want to honor it's lineage and history rather than rewrite it as they see fit to make it their own (Looking at you JJ RJ & KK with the ST & Solo )... Felt good to care about something Star Wars again. I just wish they dropped all the episodes at once.

I'm still debating if I'd rather wait till the series is over and watch them all at once/over a couple days. I didn't even watch GOT week to week. Waited till I had 3 or 4 episodes to watch all at once. I recorded but waited till the entire 1st season was over and knew it got renewed before I watched them on my DVR. The only time I watched GOT weekly was the last 3 episodes as I didn't want to stumble upon any spoilers, which after the fact wouldn't have mattered one damn bit from that lousy and lazy final season.

It's looking excellent so far. I wasn't terribly surprised that there's only one episode available right now (otherwise we'd all binge it during the free trial period, lol), but it was still a letdown not to be able to see more. That episode just flew by. Can't wait to see where this story is going.
