Mandalorian is better than Rogue One.

I vaguely remember that movie. I know I personally felt absolutely nothing when Andor, Jyn, blind guy, Beardie, goggles guy, and robot all died. Didn't care. Characters were so bland and meaningless it meant nothing to me.

I actually like and care about the characters in Mando.

Everyone goes all gaga about Rogue One and Andor and how gritty and real it is and all that crap....but who cares if you don't like the characters at all?

Without looking it up....does anyone even remember the name of Mon Mothma's cousin's lesbian lover?

Didn't think so.

Without question

Jye overhypes this show : lol

This show has too much filler and not enough killer IMO

It’s still good and it probably is the best thing since ANH and ESB not called Rogue One but as we all know…. That’s not saying much.

It’s got some highlights for sure. Mando is a great character and baby yoda is good also. But the show still lacks a truly great villain and that’s 50% of what makes SW great. It’s why Andor was so great IMO.

I have enjoyed this 3rd season so far as it seems to be avoiding the Buffy style aliens with modern day accents :lol

It could go either way for me.. one episode to expand the universe is fine but this could get tiresome quick if they ignore Mando too much more.

In all honesty I don’t know why this SW **** is so hard for all these idiots to get right. Obi wan, BOBF, parts of Mando, the ST.. I guess it All boils down to them hating the original fan base… Old white dudes :lol

To be fair Lucas could not seem to get it right either after Empire… And he was an old white dude :lol
Nah, agree with Jye, actually. And we don't know enough about Moff Gideon or any other villain yet. Anyway a major classic in another genre basically revolved around a piece of jewelry and an eyeball and some guys in robes with no faces. The threat can be more compelling than actually seeing. There are so many things I like about this series I could write a few pages. But the fact that I am spending money on collectibles is enough.

Less than 10 minutes in. My God this is dumb.

"Don't shoot! We'll follow"

30 seconds later...

"I'm out of fuel. It always gets away"

:slap:slap:slap
Yeah, I suffered whiplash in this episode, bored, then head slapping then excited. Wash rinse repeat. Oh dear. I’m starting to rethink my views of BoBF.

I really enjoyed this episode. Carl Weathers did a good job on directing duties. Loved the flashback, what a way to honour that actor.

This season looks to be shaping up as Bo's arc, reassessing herself, changing her perspective and becoming worthy to lead mandalore (maybe). Din is just trying to be a good mando dad.

For what it's worth here's how I rate Disney Star Wars:

1. The Mandalorian
2. Solo
3. Rogue One
4. Andor
6. The Book Of Boba Fett

And the rest is an absolute flaming pile of Bantha Poodoo! So I guess that's not too bad a hit rate?

The Good:
1: Andor
2: Rogue One

The Meh/OK:
3: Solo
4: Mando

The Bad:
5: Kenobi
6: TBOBF
7: TFA

The Ugly (worst):
8: TLJ
9: ROS

Is this the halfway point for the season?

I was pretty "meh" on this one. The dialogue was clunky and repetitive. They only outlined their mission about 6 times, over and over. I think we got it.

I remember between Phantom Menace and AOTC, people used their primitive video editing skills to make fake trailers. They took footage of Boba Fett and made multi-colored variants to illustrate the rumors of there being Mandalorians in AOTC. It looked really bad.

Never thought 20-some years later we'd get the real thing on a TV show. Life is crazy.

They really need to move though. That beach is clearly not safe.

As far as I could tell, none of them got killed on their little mission. That would have been stupid. There's barely any of them left anyway, so I'm glad they didn't kill any cannon fodder for "dramatic effect." Maybe they did and I didn't notice.

So the dude refers to the kid as his "son" but he's also clearly a foundling. I guess that means foundlings are allowed to consider their finders their parents? Bo calls Din Grogu's Dad all the time. What happened to Din's "Dad" that found him in the flashbacks in season one?

And again, it brings up the question of whether these guys make babies the traditional way or not. Seeing their eating customs only made me wonder what they would do in the bedroom.

I guess it's not high praise for the show that I'm more interested in their bizarre lifestyle with keeping those helmets on than I am the plot.

Good for Ahmed Best for getting to portray a badass double-wielding Jedi. Wonder if he'll get an action figure.

Lots of Armorer in this episode. I remember back in season one when it looked like she was a goner when the Stormtroopers were after her. Glad she's still around. The actress that plays her is pretty hot, actually. Surprised they keep such a hot lady under wraps all the time. You know what's weird? She's not even British...her goofy accent is fake!
