Not all Mandos fight. They actually have a word in their language for non-combatant Mandos.
I know what they're called: Mandonots.

Dude as cool as Luke in S2 was I just never felt the wave of emotion, teared up, etc., like apparently a lot of people did.Khev the Mandalorian reinforcements upper atmosphere aerial descent showing their vehicles and jet packs from above leading right into aeriel battle without landing first and Koska sliding off that platform and turning around was so freaking bad ass I didn’t want it to end lol
AOTC was not what I imagined when I first heard the words “Clone Wars” in 77.Dude as cool as Luke in S2 was I just never felt the wave of emotion, teared up, etc., like apparently a lot of people did.
But about halfway through the end battle after like ten cool things happened in a row and then they cut back to flying Mandos fighting flying Stormtroopers I just started to crack and was all "ha ha, that's cool, and that's cool, and that's cool, and...wait...am I...seeing...what...I've been dreaming about since...before the prequels??? Holy s***, this...is actually happening" and couldn't help but notice something in my eye, lol.
AOTC was not what I imagined when I first heard the words “Clone Wars” in 77.
This episode is what I envisioned as a kid so very very long ago.
So freaking true. Flying Mandos fighting *practical* flying Troopers just like I used to imagine the Clone Wars to be.AOTC was not what I imagined when I first heard the words “Clone Wars” in 77.

Actually that kid still lives inside of me and he was in heaven at 3am Wednesday morning!
I loved Mando stabbing the troopers between their armor plates!
I am sooooo getting that armored Gideon!
Armored Gideon > Arena comic book Fett
Especially since he was removed from S2 for no good reasonSo freaking true. Flying Mandos fighting *practical* flying Troopers just like I used to imagine the Clone Wars to be.
You're totally right about the Mythosaur representing all Mandalorians. If he showed up it would have basically been planet Mandalore repelling the Empire itself like the whale in AWOW. Cameron would have known not to exclude such a moment. Oh well, they still delivered one of the best SW experiences ever and by having Axe crash the ship instead of using the Mythosaur then they kind of surprised everyone byhaving a random male character steal Bo-Katan's thunder and take out Gideon at the last minute, lol.
Yeah Din Djarin wasn't shown up at all.Especially since he was removed from S2 for no good reason
I’m surprised that this had no forced strong women makes man look weak moment.
I thought it was going to when Bo landed and said I got this all cocky to Mando and told him to step aside let a woman with a darksaber show you how its done..
Cut to..
Gideon immediately proceeds to break her toy and face plants her to the ground lol
I was totally ok with the 3 royal guards getting the best of Mando no matter how hard he tried and Grogu stepping in with the force push / pull assist.Yeah Din Djarin wasn't shown up at all.
He killed all the Gideon clones. He got to fight all the waves of Troopers behind the shields by himself and mostly just with knives. He lasted much longer against the Praetorians than Paz did and then got to deliver the kills after tag-teaming with Grogu. And he got to go mano a mano with Gideon without being humiliated.
I even cracked up at the Mouse Droid leaving and then coming back with all of his gangsta little friends, lol.
Absolutely correct. The Praetorian Guards in this were far more threatening than the ST's Praetorians + Knights of Ren put together.
No kidding. When Din was already struggling against Gideon and *then* all three showed up I almost let out an audible "oh s---!"The Praetorian Guards in this were far more threatening than the ST's Praetorians + Knights of Ren put together.
I think Giancarlo just didn’t want to grow a moustache.SW Theory posted an interesting video. Fans found some interesting info hinting that the Gideon that died was a clone.
So more than likely, he'll be back! Possibly with force powers.
The same goes for that bad ass weed captain over Jabba the Hutt. People just seem to have much better design sensibilities nowadaysBeskar Gideon looks more bad ass than Vader…
OMFG!…remember Ashoka series has a female director in charge
Yup, Seeing Grogu "evolve" and actually do something useful with the force (besides those awful jump flips) was one of the few stand-out moments of this season i.m.o.I'm a 50ish year old man and I freakin' loved the Grogu stuff. I think the connection between Din and Grogu gives the show heart. I thought the finale was a lot of fun and that Grogu flexing his force muscles was an expected, but enjoyable part of that. It's all leading to an eventual 100 year old Grogu series...which I'm also here for!
