Makes you wonder if there was no hype, no trailers, just here, this Matrix sequel comes out on Friday. I guarantee hordes of people would be at the theater, preordering online or in person to see it. Can get in front of all the back and forth non-sense and leaks when it comes out in a week. That would be something to see.

Well, if everything really is a simulation it doesn't make much difference. Takes me back to the fan theories that Reloaded was a Matrix within a Matrix.
It makes a difference if I am paying to see the movie. Guess the movie doesn't make a difference if I see it or not.
Layers is one thing... but they can play the "what IS real?" gag too far.
In the end, if nothing is real, than what exactly is the point of Neo, Trinity or this movie?

Riveting stuff... Whatever, I'll DL it. No Fishbourne has significantly lowered my interest. I don't care about this new guy doing his best Morpheus impression, I want the whole cast back. They gave Fishbourne the boot because he was so effay he intimidated them:

That'd be one thing, but to bring back half the old cast just ends up being "off".
Wasn't sure about Weaving as he did do some work with the Wackwowskis outside of the Matrix. I would've at least gave them a call or their agents just to say it was about the story - unless they both really did do something the director didn't like.
We'll never know I suppose. Not that I much care at this point. All these movies don't grab me anymore. I just hope HT gets off their arses and does a Revolutions/Reloaded Neo so that I add him to my collection.
It's a new movie sure, but honestly what is so different about this one? Hard to get excited over that fact.

Neo wasn't the one, instead the sixth. The prophecy of the one and even the last city of Zion were all systems of control created by the machines.
Is that how you interpreted that?
He IS The One... in his 6th permutation. Despite the machines manipulating things, Neo (The One) does still have a choice... as the trilogy reveals. But his choice is NOT one of those two doors provided by the machines. It is a third.
