gonna watch this and was wondering for all you that own the dvd.........what is the best version to watch 1st...colour or B&W?

I haven't watched all of the B&W version yet, but the beginning of it looks pretty sweet in B&W. Awesome movie too, really creepy and relevant to the human condition. You'll love it.

same film...the dvd has a colour version & a b/w version supposedly as the director wanted to release it but studio wanted the colour version
DONT LET ANYONE SPOIL THE ENDING FOR YOU. Other than that, it's a great movie. Very Half-Lifeish

hi guys !!!!!!! i buy the two-disc collectors edition with limited edition collectible booklet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and was well , especially the end , some effects could be better , but it's ok the history is good , and the actors are well. is an edition to have .:D

Watch the Black and White since that is what the director intended.

I saw it in theatres in color. As soon as I got the dvd I watched the black and white version. Liked them both.

Awesome movie!! :rock

My advice is to watch it "cold turkey." The less you actually know about the plot/movie the better.

I prefer the B&W version myself over the color. The only drawback of the B&W version is that some of the "special effects don't look as good in B&W.

On a side note, Thomas Jane is great in this movie.

That's funny. From what I have read from most people's reactions, they said the black and white actually helped make the effects look less fake than the color version.

I watched this for the first time on DVD. I started watching the B&W version first, but I found it distracting. I switched to the color version and then went back and watched a few scenes of the B&W. I thought the B&W flattered the FX shots.
I will not go into spoilers, but is there a thread anywhere discussing the ending?

I just wathced it last night! I liked it very much. It wasw really scarey and the effects looked awesome. The ending sucked though. Pure crap.

Mist was awesome, really enjoyed it from the beginning to the end,a good and sad ending,i recommend this movie on the strongest.

i thought the movie was pretty good, seemed bad at some points but overall alright. I let someone borrow the movie and told her she was gonna love the ending.
