I actually gave that set away when the 1997 SE soundtracks came out -- I learned that a friend's wife was a big SW fan, and also blind, so it made for a nice gift.

The 1997 releases contain all the music from the OT, except for a few variants, Lapti Nek, and the original Ewok song, and I can live without all of those on CD. These discs also contain excellent liner notes that were dropped from subsequent rereleases, and have great production and sound quality.

So I won't be buying this new set.

As for the PT music, none of the current releases are particularly good. The TPM UE is actually a major disappointment, with all the film edits and all. AOTC has yet to be scored properly in Reel 6, and I'm not holding out hope for that. The one PT recording I listen to over and over again is a virtually complete bootleg of ROTS I downloaded off the net -- it's totally amazing, even with the original album release being quite solid. I'd pay to own that one legally in a heartbeat!

Already preordered this, I've been looking for a boxed set for a while and this will work.

Lapti Nek totally OWNS that legacy diminishing Jedi Rocks.

I'll agree with that Pix, but how can you forget the old Yub Yub Ewok song; while Williams' extended piece for the Special Edition is a nice piece of music and I'm happy with it if the old track had to be replaced, but to me it was more fun when the music felt like something the Ewoks would really sing and play in their village for fun.
