The New Spike From Electric Tiki - shirt color

Hey all. I've got a great question to throw at all of you. Tracy has so kindly emailed me and asked me about the color for Spike's shirt. Asking my opinion, etc. So, I am bringing it to all of you too. Let's all get a word in on what we would like to see.

So here's what I need from you...

The design for Spike is done, that cannot be changed. So please remember that when you are giving me your opinions. The thing that CAN be changed are the colors.

So, here is the design...no, no photo...just imagine it. Awesome tiki design for Spike in black boots, black pants, black jacket. Red shirt. I think btw, that it's a great look to have the red shirt. Now, other options could be...blue shirt, or black shirt.

I am going with the black shirt because it's true to the Spike character. The blue shirt while yes, he did wear it, he did not wear it with his leather jacket. And I feel it wouldn't be as 'true' to the character. And I feel that most of you would agree.

So let er rip on the opinions.

PLEASE ADD: That I want you to tell me which one should be the EXCLUSIVE or REGULAR from these two choices

All black (black shirt) Spike
All black (red shirt) Spike

I will be taking notes and sending them to Tracy.

I chose black over the blue as well. I think the Black shirt or, all black Spike, should be the regular, and the red shirt should be the EXC.

Not so bothered which would be exclusive or not. But the red shirt just screams spike as does the black. The blue doesnt so much, like in the series (if i remember correctly) he sorta wore the blue when he simmered down a bit, and then after getting his arse handed to him by some demon he went and got his coat, threw it on again and became SPIKE once more. once again thats if i remember correctly. But deffinitely red or black, if I had to choose would be red though. Also adds a bit of colour to him since he is head to toe in black any way

Do we get to choose other colors? Because I want the dark red/brownish purple t-shirt.

Just remember the red shirt is already a go. So we're all deciding on the second shirt. Blue or black. And yes GW, he wore the blue shirt in season 7.

JUST the t-Shirt under the coat. no button ups at all here.

that's it. thanks graywolf. then that's the undershirt he should have. Hey it's been a while since I have rewatched every single episode. Red should be the exclusive, this way it matches all the other exclusives, buffy (first statue) and the Faith exclusive.

Well, I voted for the other shirt to be black.

But I'm still trying to decide if I want the Exclusive to be the black shirt or the red shirt! Decisions, decisions.

He's never had a red t-shirt, so it makes no sense whatsoever that he would have one now, so I think I would actually prefer the blue on over the red(since he atleast had that on at one time), but since that's no longer an option, the other shirt should be the brown I just showed or black.

Well red is the colour most associated with souless Spike, which by the looks of it is what they've based this sculpt on judging by the fire axe he's holding. Something that he was only ever seen with briefly in School Hard.

Something that electric tiki is great at giving us is switch out hands. So I am betting that the fire axe wont be the only thing he comes with........
