Anyone else thinking of using that pig head for a Motel Hell custom?

:lol.........i thought of using it as some kind of psycho killer bash and completely forgot about motel hell.............good call.
probably have to fill in the back of the head with sculpy or something to give it a roundness but that would be badass.

I just picked up a SST Leatherface recently and I gotta say, I think this guy is a reworked Leatherface ( i.e they changed his head and clothes some)

Gekko

The early dead figures were pretty much all reuse on clothing and accessories... but I think at least the priest is new, I've never seen his robes before.

But I don't think the Butcher is the same outfit as leather face... TCM had thinner straps on the smock, long sleeves and dark pants. Pretty sure this is a new clothing pattern.

Although, I may be wrong about the smock... I though the collar on the Butcher was the straps.

Does it really even matter? :huh :lol The priest's shoes were repainted Belloq shoes. Doesn't bother me one bit so long as the Butcher looks kick ass.

It's a funny situation. 28 Days was marketed as a zombie flick when it's actually in the plague genre. And yes, you're correct, it's just "infected." Though the flipside to that coin is that what we call zombies aren't really zombies, they're ghouls. Zombies are people who are alive but give off the appearance of being dead, think voodoo. Whereas ghouls are the dead brought back to life.

Correct, except that ghouls are eaters of the dead, not the living (and not necessarily undead themselves). Flesh-eating "zombies" are an invention of George Romero and John Russo. I prefer the term cannibal dead.

But then you see flicks like Demoni and Night of the Demons and it just gets all the more confusing. :lol

Do any of you think the Butcher will be available post convention. I only picked up all of the Dead (sans PZ of course) this year. But seeing that the Harbinger, Street Prophet, and even one of the Babysitters are all still available so long after their releases, and with the edition sizes about the same as the new Butcher, I was thinking these would be available after the convention. Maybe even as gift card eligible.

It would be nice to have a product available that I could use my T2 $50 Gift Card on!

:D

I for see you being able to pick up the Butcher. I think there will be a lot of cancellations especially with people who got a lot of the other SDCC exclusives.

Well, I mean I have had him on order since day one, but was looking for a way to cut my expenses with SDCC this year.

These guys are easy to find for decent prices. I'd wait ..but this is my favorite SS line.

Yep, any figure past the first 3 seems to be fairly easy/cheap to get later on for less than retail.

This one is a fairly low ES... but even still I don't think (at least in the short term) he's going to jump in price.

He's still aval for pick up on the site. Maybe they'll go "international" with the left-overs.

Don't ignore the fact that he's an SDCC Ex. With the exception of 1025 who was overkilled via variants, they have a track record of being hard to come by after selling out. ;) Have a peek at ebaY for proof. :D
