Now that Sideshow are branching out into Temple Of Doom territory, can we expect to see a 1/6th TOD Indy soon? When things like PF’s and dioramas are announced, I always look for the 1/6th announcement. Since you have collaborated with Hot Toys with your armored figures, you could easily handle the visible articulation issue with the rope-bridge version by using one of their muscle bodies.

You’ll see a pause in the Indiana Jones 12-inch line after Henry Jones. Our development team is in the midst of evaluating TOD characters (including Indy) for production, including considerations like collaboration with Hot Toys for muscle bodies. It may take us some time to fully answer this question, but it is an active discussion.

In the meantime, we have some truly wonderful TOD Premium Format figures in development, and we’re eager to show you more. Stay tuned!

MOLA RAM and ripped-sleeve-machete-wielding INDY!!!

...sorry to hear about the pause in the 1/6 line after Henry Sr....well, really after Indy KOTCS 1/6 I guess...but I like the consulting with HT on muscle bodies (a la their upcoming Wolverine...)

Those exposed arms pushed Indy and Mola into PF territory instead of 1:6 I'm afraid.

Still, Mola PF with light up flaming heart will be cool.

They definitely scream PF. A light up heart would be amazing Ex, or a switch out head one with head dress one without. Not a big deal for Indy but for Mola Ram I think he is iconic with both.

It's either Indy with the sleeve ripped off and the sword or Mola Ram. It wouldn't surprise me if they did another Indy and it would be a very popular one, right up there with the Raiders PF or maybe even more.

I am soooo dead now! I tried hard to stay away from the PF but now I just can't. This news also is going to finalize my decision to cancel the bridge dio. $300 for a dio or $300 for a PF is a no brainer for me...

Mwhahahaha, sad you have to cancel the dio but glad you are replacing it with a PF!!!!

But at the same time, it might be a while before the ToD PF ever ship so you might be able t swing both. I wouldn't cancel yet.

You announced during Comic-Con 2009 that you will be releasing Premium Format Figures from “Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom”. Now, since you’ve already released two Indy PFs, this could might as well mean Mola Ram, Willie Scott or even Short Round, but I have to ask ’cause I simply cannot wait any more! Is there a Temple Of Doom Indiana Jones INDY PF on the way?

Yes, we are in development on Indiana Jones from Temple of Doom in Premium Format.

Not that this is new news but thought I would share.

Great. The simple direction to go in is the torn shirt bridge scene Indy holding the Thuggee Sword in one hand and the Whip in the other ... but I would personally prefer Club Obi Wan Indy. But I will happily take one of whatever.
