Who should be the next Indiana Jones?

Yeah, I think he plays the lovable ******* and womanizer better than Pratt. I don't think Pratt has that real life experience cause he used to be fat and is already married. :lol

Hahahaahah :lol

Yeah, Pine can play it off pretty well, Pratt is funny, but I can see him pulling the Starlord as Indy. And Indy never really struck me as a hilarious guy. Pratt would probably be an okay Drake, not Indy IMO.

Anyone could make a good Rick O Connell in fairness, that character is hardly iconic. That I even know who you're referring to is a small miracle. I doubt there will ever be an Indiana Jones as worthy of the name as Harrison Ford, but I guess they'll keep trying and quite possibly new generations will prefer the new guy (but be horrifically wrong in doing so).

I'd like to see someone new that already isn't in some other franchise. Pine's got Star Trek, Pratt's got Guardians. Surely there is some other guy out there that can fit the role?

Indy has all the personality characteristics we know of--rugged and brave, but can also be self-effacing and funny. He has to be fairly athletic. He has to be likable. Both Pine and Pratt can present that. But a key component is that he also has to pass as a respected academic. On that last measure, Pratt is a much easier sell than Pine IMO. Pine strikes me more as a jock than anything else. I didn't watch the new Tom Clancy reboot, though.

Wasn't this a thread before? Besides... with US History in most states being canceled out in schools. How are kids supposed to know what Nazis are or Indy's role in meeting them all the time. :duh
