thanks to Furious1, I am now officially out of this line and dude don't pass on Cammy! You know you will regret it when you want her later and then she will be $400+.

I might pick her up and keep her in storage...I just dont know if I will be able to display her at all.

Edit, just got on the waitlist for the Shadaloo version. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Those pictures look great, although I'm not sure about the ponytail. I'm guessing that's the exclusive. Where did you find the information about the Ex having an ES of 150 Karma? Is it gonna be going up for pre-order on SS's site soon?

Can one of you PS Magician do me a favor? Get rid of the red under Ken's eye, and glossy lip? I think it would look alot better?

Well folks, I am officially into this line. I have Evil Ryu and Vega on the to me right now. I am going to skip Cammy and go for Ken as my next one. If I can find a regular Ryu, I will snag him as well. Thanks to xenofreak for setting me up!

Why won't you take the regular Ryu number 1/500 on ebay. Come on guys I saw Ryus getting for 280. The edition number is not that important thing but number one at 350 ! If I lived in the us I would have resold my regular ryu for a long time and just picked this one !!

Ehh, edition number means nothing to me. I have seen the auction, and besides it being $350, he wants $22.50 more to ship, so I think thats a little steep...

...not to mention his feedback is less than stellar...

I agree about the face. It should have been a younger face with the pony tail. Oh well, the change of head is free so I guess we can't complain too much.

I love the SOTA street fighter statues. The Sagat one is my favorite although Blanka is probably the most detailed. I think they are high quality. Definitely worth the money. SOTA also released a Chun Li statue at SDCC '08 that was supposed to be a promotion for SF IV. You can still order it through the Capcom Store on Capcom's website. However, be warned. It is very fragile. Not as high of quality as the ones you see in the picture. I had to return three because the resin ribbons from her hair kept arriving snapped. I gave up after the third one. Plus the base was blue and said, "Street Fighter IV" on the front of it which was radically different than the Ryu's, Sagat, and Blanka bases that you see in the picture.
You can still order the Sagat and Blanka statue from SOTA's website. I think you have to get both Ryu's from Ebay though as they are sold out from SOTA.

Hey guys, in reference to the exclusive version of the Ken statue many had commented on the fact that the change of head with the ponytail was not a "younger" version of Ken and some of us are trying to convince him to reconsider doing a younger version w/ponytail instead of the current same face w/ponytail. Below is his response from statueforum.com...

I guess I dont see the current face as looking 'older'. Its really only a couple years difference between shaggy hair ken and pony tail ken...I wouldnt think they would look any different (and capcom didnt say anything about it either)

Let me think about it... I have a couple weeks in which I could change it if I decide.

Lets try to get as many people motivated as possible so he will do it. Show your support! Maybe someone can start a thread about it with a poll.

I don't like the red under the eyes either. I'm just not feeling it.

Man I'm glad I'm not a big fan of Ken, because I think this statue missed the mark. The pose and stance is kind of awkward, the creepy smirk and the oddly chosen single finger that looks like he's saying more along the lines of"I'm going to stick this finger up your nose or butt" as opposed to the "get over here" it's supposed to harken to.

The heavy red under his eyes makes him look like a zombie or that he's been on a crack binge for a week straight.

Goes up this Thursday....since PCS is considering changes it'll be interesting to see how many order on the anticipation of things changing with the exclusive.

I think this statue is a small letdown, put I wouldn't pass on it, it will still look great with the rest of the SF series.
