"Obscure" as in "short lived"!? Because pretty much all the shows above were cancelled after a single season.

Yes, all the shows I remember from childhood that seemed to go on forever I now know only had a dozen episodes. Few more examples...

Yes, and there's now a sequel/reimagining called Wentworth!
