Since there's so much interest going around our beloved (replicant) Blade Runner Rick Deckard, I figured it would be nice to have one thread to put up pics of the near-mythical figure of the "android hunter".

So, who's got one?
Who would like to make a nice review of their figure?

I certainly don't own one... but would love to!:D

weird. i was just looking for pics of this myself. found a few sites with the original head and some which use the original outfit and body, but with customised heads (you have to scroll quite far down on some of the pages):

https://dawgestyle.com/deck.htm (custom head, and very nice too)

there are a couple on eBay right now, but think i'll wait and see what shawn does in terms of outfit. the guy's a perfectionist. i'm sure it'll turn out fantastic.

I came across a Deckard about two years ago, at a fair. It was not the Android hunter version I belive. The figure itself was not really what I would desire to be a good representation of Deckhard, but it was not THAT bad either. The box was... a see-trough cylinder, or tube if I remember it correctly... Or, perhaps the owner just put it in one for display purposes. I could not ask him, he was not around.
As much as I want Blade Runner figures, I ain't buying the first best thing. It has to be good.

I have the Android Hunter V3, comes in a grey box. The headsculpt is recognizable... but not great. The paint is especially weak. If you want I can post more pics later if you guys want. Nice thing about the V3 is you also get the original head, which is very generic but cool to have.

WoW! That is one of the best Harrison sculpts IMO and look at the original paint. My suggestion to all Harrison sculpters would be to keep it simple. By that I mean don't try to paint it with the sculpt if that makes sense. This pic just proves it. Very cool.

Holy Crap Phil! I knew that was a decent Harrison sculpt, but you knocked it out of the park! Did you do anything besides paint?

Wow grizzlelee! I know that Deckard. I almost bought it a couple years back! I'm pretty sure we even spoke about it. It's amazing, too bad you lost all the pics.

BTW -- Welcome!!!

Nope, just paint and weathered the clothes. That head is actually a really good sculpt - I want to see one of the masters take a crack at repainting it.

Well we might just do that... I'm sending off some stuff but couldn't decide on the final head. Seeing your repaint sealed the deal :rock

Yeah, it's really hard to believe it's the same sculpt. Really hard. I own it and still don't believe it. Quite amazing!

Well, I can't sculpt, so believe me, that's the same head!

Thanks for the comments. I'm damn itchy to see some custom outfits made available - it's the only thing I still don't quite dig about the Android Hunter fig. But it does the job for now...

Hi Phil, have you done a body-swap for your Android Hunter? Or is it the original body that it came with?

I'm looking for recommendations because I was considering switching out the AH body with a hot toys true type or the S Buck body.

Oh btw, great pics and fantastic paint application Phil! Wish I had the skills...

EDIT: I just read your post on the other Deckard thread (the "kind ebayers" one), thanks for the info!

This is not my sculpture. This is a partial repaint. All Toy Syndicate wanted me to do was to repaint the defective 5 o'clock shadow.

This was not a bad sculpt, but it really wasn't as complete as it needed to be. Still, it was the only one in existence for a long while.
