ahhhh flipping.

It's like the recasting bit. It's OK if you know the person selling slighty altered recasts, but very very evil if you don't.

Selling something for profit is seen as OK if you are doing it to buy more collectibles but EEEEvil if you are selling them to buy other things.

You can do what you want with what you own. If people don't like it, they can whine (and boy, do we have some whiners here!)

flipping and recasting are not anything alike... like comparing stealing to the stock exchange.

I don't think it was the comparison between the two, but the principle of doing something and then taking issue with it when others do the very same thing. Or better yet, justifying one's own purposes while looking down on others.
